Thanks to a couple of people, I have picked up a bunch of scenery. That site is still saying bandwidth exceeded. What I particularly need now is any pack that featured curved footpath pieces. I don't want to build everything so angular.

Does anyone know how long this carnival will be there for or the hours/other rides it has? There's one in Broadbeach too, I saw it on the ocean side ... was all closed-up though, was in the middle of that rain period we had down here. Don't know if it's still there. But I think I'll cruise down to Coolangatta, need a Zipper/carnival fix. A few of us should meet up!

Yeah, that's the park. I was leaving that scene for someone to bring up themself, hoping they'd find a link to an online clip of the scenes. Yeah I went there in July last year, great park - rode both that woodie (Colossos) and what was known in the movie as the 'Whipper Snapper' (Revolution in RL) which is at 3 minutes 24 seconds. Great fun... as a Vacation movie freak, I was thrilled to visit "Walley World" EDIT: I found a clip! I rode whatever Zipper was at the GCS in 2007 too. I forget what the colour was.

Daniel, how do they compare in your opinion? I find the Gold Coast Show one wasn't as intense as the Ekka's.

The fences next to the buses look wrong for that purpose. Try something more generic. Central Park is probably better in the MIDDLE of the New York section...surround it with buildings/streets. Universal sign looks stretched - try a different billboard or source graphic. But yes, getting better and better.

It's definitely looking WAY better, man... NY doesn't look very New York-ish though... maybe add some random fake stairs down to the subway - look at Universal Orlando photos - basically stairs leading down to a concrete wall - parked yellow taxis etc. Add a mini Central Park area with refreshment stands, trees etc and areas for people to sit. But I'm really liking your developments. Glad you're still going with it.

And a churro stand in the shape of a churro - Keep Ocean Parade ... improve the theming to make it more islandish... add 2-3 other DECENT flat rides. - Keep Gold Rush area and incorporate Rocky Hollow into it. Improve level of theming, get rid of anything that doesn't fit into the concept. Open improved version of Eureka ride, add some tech to the rapids ride and improve theming on that. Put in a cost-effective but decent coaster (family woodie?) - Reopen and extend chair lift system to allow transport along the middle of the park. - Develop the island to a new themed area. Put in a landmark coaster not just an Australian-first for the sake of having an Australian first. - Boost Operations standards to get hourly rider capacity up and like 'dj' said, offer incentives for best ranked staff - Put a shooting dark ride where Blue Lagoon was/where the function centre currently sits. - Look at available land for expansion.
