Is WhiteWater World doing something like this for New Years Eve? I'd love to see them do something like this. I'd give the public a better option and WnW a run for they're money.

myk, not really. The queue lines would (hopefully) according to videos that I've seen of this ride really short. Think about it, GD's ride time includes; It getting hoisted up the 13 story tower, hanging up there for something like 40 seconds and then, finally falling. BWSS, will simply launch straight up. This is why it's called Batwing Space'shot' as you completely have no waiting for the time of it getting hoisted up the tower, and so on.

And, I still feel they should have and could still create some sort of Wonderland Sydney Museum? Not sure if it'd work, but sounds ok. They could display the Bush Beast coaster cars, maybe have 1 ride there like the Merry-Go-Round?

I don't think it will be a 'great' surprise if this is it. After all, there isn't much time left til New Years Eve. It could maybe be someone singing there, like the latest Australian Idol winner or something like that?

If it was/is going in the Lethal Weapon queue area, does this mean the ride/attraction will be incorporated into the 'China Town' theming? Or, will it have something to do with Lethal Weapon? I think it'd be pretty stupid and random to place an attraction/ride into the 'China Town'/Lethal Weapon section and not theme it to suit it. I would have rather have seen 2 towers go up for BWSS. Maybe, one tower where is now, And the other around the back of the Batman Ride 2?

Has any further construction been made yet? Will this 'eye' have any theming to it, or just simply left how it is?

Nice pictures! Does anyone know why this coaster was replaced? I feel Luna Park Sydney should restore a lot of the theming which was incorporated into the park in the 1990's revamp of the park. For example; The giant spider that went over the top of Spider. The bug which was located at the entrance of Tumble Bug, so on. I also feel, that LPS should have kept the same layout of the rides as it was in the 1990's revamp. Maybe, used the area out back of Coney Island to build a Log flume, or indoor coaster like Scooby?

I saw someone on The Claw who wasn't really mucking around, but doing something really stupid and, could have hurt someone. They started to kick they're legs, but while doing it they're VANS (shoes) came flying off and landed in the bushes behind The Claw/In between Nick Central.

Does anyone else feel they should have made 2 towers for Batwing Spaceshot? Like parks in USA do, to cut down the queue lines.

I saw the ad for WWW this evening on channel 7 (nsw). Not sure if it's just the ad, but during the part when they show BRO, it seems like you go fairly fast down it.. Is this correct, or is it just the ad? Also, I really like the ad/park. Looks fantastic. Will the park have any other entertainers apart from the dog headed-people?

That's true. When we went to QLD during Indy time, We went up to Harvey Bay. And, we went whale watching. They're HUGE!

I wouldn't even pay that. It really doesn't give me any amusement or appeal to me, at all.

I'm not trying to have a go at anyone. But I 100% agree with dreamworld_rulz. Some people on here lately have become so dumb! Like dreamworld_rulz said, it wouldn't hurt if people read something before posting. Anyways, that's my rant.

Did you people hear about "Free Willy" in sea world in America? He/she pinned a trainer underwater.

Nothing at all. In fact, I'm not even getting one. Plus, I don't even understand what it is. :S

It won't be open this Tuesday. Themeing isn't even finished yet. And, as far as I've heard, construction havn't even finished!

Really, do you think it will would be anything that 'special'? I know, personally, I wouldn't pay to ride it.

Or whales in any sort? I like the idea of this, it sounds really good. But, where would they put this new attraction? It'd have to be a pretty massive one in it's self.

Actually, your wrong there. You forgot AussieWorld. I've never been there, But from what I've heard.. It's pretty "Aussie" for you. We recently went to Queensland the week after Indy (we forgot about Indy). So, we're going to wait 3 years til, hopefully the parks have a few more rides. Also, in 3 years time I would have finished Yr 12, So I'll proabley end up going up for schoolies.
