My news headline for the birth of the tigers at DW. "BIRTH OF TIGERS BUYS ARDENT TIME"

We cover all manner of stuff on this website that is utterly boring to 99% of the population. At the end of the day this is an article that was thrown together because it is something of minor consequence to talk about in an otherwise quiet week. It's a niche audience within a niche audience that would be into this and it's not a topic we'd make a habit of covering regularly so it was left at a level that would be interesting for anyone that willingly reads beyond the hyperlinks to the two websites. The payoff -- for you, me or this website -- just isn't there if we made this piece web design 101, compared with say roller coaster construction techniques for dummies. Be sure to do up a list of big, confusing words every time we cover something financial because we never explain things like EBITDA, the inner workings of the stock exchange or annual general meetings for the poor mums and dads.

In news that seemed to slip thru the cracks... 2 tiger cubs were born at DW last week. Which is great news... They’ll be on public show in a few weeks when they find a way to encase them in Perspex in a way that doesn’t inhibit their walking..

That's true @GoGoBoy if you're talking about theme parks. If I'm on a theme park site I don't believe I should be expected to understand web design to read an article.

Many rapids rides were designed that way originally - with observation towers for staff to watch different parts of the ride course. Then costs happened, and they changed the set up so staff didn't need to be in towers - because they could have cameras instead... Surely, given the fairly small course, some CCTV, and a good loud-hailer system to communicate with dickheads would have worked too?

Well the plot thickens in regard to this. I discussed this finding with Brad from Luna Park along with some other Luna discussions and his reaction was certainly interesting. Whilst I knew that he would not and could not confirm the park installing this coaster, his reply was very open ended. Here it is: There is no official confirmation and we know that there will be none until the park is ready to release a press statement to what is essentially a very sensitive ( to the surrounding residents) issue. The addition of a new roller coaster to LPS is likely to stir up memories of the 2nd Big Dipper coaster and the acrimonious lawsuits against the park that followed. Now though, the park will be better armed to combat any such resistance and the installation of a new coaster of the the type the park may be looking at will be far less controversial than a 100 foot tall Arrow multilooper. So we can definitely glean from this that LPS are actively looking at options for a 2nd coaster. This is fantastic news and one that should be celebrated! If they are going for a Maurer, then this will be a Australian first and will give LPS a unique coaster experience for this country. I love that they are also looking at plans for custom layouts- a unique riding experience found nowhere else is a big drawcard for all enthusiasts. The next 2 years are looking extremely bright for LPS and I will certainly be at the forefront on reporting and documenting the changes as they come to hand. Happy days!!

Some of what you've been saying I've agreed with, but now it's just turning into a bit of a shit-fight. Just giving you a stir on the Google thing.
