  1. The carpark and some areas in the park regularly flood when there has been as much rain as we’ve had over the weekend. And with only a quarter of the park open and only a few dozen guests visiting when it’s sunny, it just isn’t worth them opening

  2. At the DW LEGO Store, the pick a brick wall has reopened. You have to go to the service counter to get your buck and gloves, you then go back to the counter, pass them the bucket and put your glove in a bin. They also have DW merch available for sale

  3. 1-10 years isn’t short term.. that’s short, medium and long all in one. short term would be 1-3, medium term 4-6, long term beyond 7 years. With the world the way it is currently there is little point even Considering long term at the moment, or even medium. You can only focus on now. Parks can’t even plan for the next 12 months with any surety so no big decisions will he made with capex at all. i don’t think anymore money is going to go into rehashing SDSC any further. Arkham will no doubt be replaced, but unlikely in the next 3 years now. tbh, short term (1-3 years) given the situation, I’d be happy with a theme makeover/refresh for WWF, a new show to replace HSD and a new kids ride to Replace 1 or 2 of the terribly aged current offerings.

  4. It was just there, standing but not operating. Both rides had nobody doing anything to them. Tumble Bug had the green fence up, and you could only go as far as the top of the Big Dipper Staircase. And then the Ranger I assumed it was under maintainace, as sometimes the Moon Ranger can be closed for months to be maintained. I assume that is the most likely case that is happening. But I will mention it to the Management when I next see them.

  5. It's hardly severe weather today. I guess it makes sense to close from an operational standpoint though as patronage would be super low on a cool and rainy day.

  9. @Smol bean welcome to the forums, we hope you enjoy your stay. Just a tip, you can edit the text before posting it, so that you don’t have to say autocorrect messed up Because of corona I doubt we will see any major investments for a few years. But I definitely would love to see they replace HSD2, refurb for WB Kids and once AA is removed, an all new coaster that hasn’t been seen in Aus before (Would love to see a flying coaster)

  11. Typo by me. I wrote those for short term and long term but didn't put in the title for long term! How do I edit my above post? There is no option to do so. Surely it would not cost much to finish touch-ups on SDSC once more? The only changes they'd really need to do are fix up the animations or just turn the screens off if it is that bad and put the Scooby animatronics back throughout the ride.
