Well clearly, the whole ride is down because the ride photo screens are broken and are away getting repaired. These are imported screens from germany, and parts are being delayed through customs. Plus the border lockdown is preventing the german technician from coming to Australia to fix it - because local tradespeople don't have the expertise to fix these specialised devices. They're not made of wood you know!

Generally, none. They have largely been phased out in favor of batter-based structures. Plus, companies typically prefer to provide lateral support on the outside of a curve. There are a few outliers though. For instance, when Georgia Cyclone was RMCed, it retained some of the tension cables. However, those areas were also reinforced with more heavy duty tie rods. You can compare them in terms of getting desensitised to it.

Sea World's Sea Lion arena faces north, guaranteeing practically all-day sunshine to virtually everyone in the front rows up to more than halfway in the grandstand. The same goes for the thunder lake seating area, also north, also full sun virtually all day. Dolphin cove faces east - a pleasurable experience in full sun for the morning keeper talks and shows. HWSD faces west, copping a big ol eyeful of sun in any show post-midday. Its fucking queensland. you're going to get sun. its going to be hot. The advantage is there is somewhere to sit down for a few minutes, so I doubt people are gonna complain too loudly about sitting in the sun for 10-15 minutes (especially when there is a waterpark LITERALLY behind it).

There's a reason there isn't such a demand for top spins anymore. At least it should provide some entertainment before it needs to be reset by maintenance.

How can you compare the Giant Drop to Soarin’? They’re two completely different attractions. It’d make sense if you compared the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror to the Giant Drop. I could ride the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and it’d be a different experience each time whereas you know what to expect on the Giant Drop.
