  1. Here's a pic dump from Wednesday Dummies were in but saw no testing Lots of greenery waiting to be planted Slight theming clash with Nick land Like how the Trident wall is looking! The statues are pretty big Half of a even BIGGER statue (later) the crane is up The BIG Statue half is getting moved Looks like he's being installed by Trident Lots of Trees have been planted by Levy No sign of testing on either ride but I don't think it will too long now...

  3. I totally agree, the parks don’t have the attendance to well support a $60 mil plus ride, and Warner Bros Abu Dhabi probably wasn’t the best comparison. However, there are many great immersive experience in the world that haven’t costed anything that much. Some that come to mind are the shooters at regional parks in the US.

  4. Why on earth would another park who has spent all these costs just let someone else copy and paste it. That’s just not how these things work.

  5. READ. IT. AGAIN. However: Just no. See Also: Brogent's attempts at getting SkyVoyager approved under Australian requirements... "in the coming weeks" is famous here for a reason. Effectively a copy-paste rollercoaster with minimal changes, and it still cost $30Million. A flagship copy darkride is still going to smash that out of the park, and $30Million is about the limit of ride investments here in Aus. This isn't fantasyland. its. not. going. to. happen.

  6. The park could definitely use some kind of "movie making" experience, even if it's not a studio tour-style attraction. Universal's special effects or horror movie makeup shows come to mind. Bollywood Park Dubai has a smaller-scale version of this sort of thing that might be more suited to Movie World. I enjoy the movie showcase but it could definitely be relocated if they wanted to use the theatre for its original purpose.

  7. Hey all, Last night I went to my first ever Halloscream at Luna Park and with this had very short lines for all rides so decided to see how many I could physically fit on and share my experience with others since I didn't find much info our there prior to going. Context, I'm a 132KG male, 190cm (around 6 foot 2-3) and hold my weight in my stomach and thighs. I'll go through the rides I went on and my experience with each so hopefully the next time you visit you can have an idea of what to ride. Slides - No issue here, had a bit of trouble getting into the slide bag but the attendant helped hold it as I put my legs in. I got some major air time on the bottom dip and landed hard into the cushions at the end. Ferris Wheel - No problem here as well. My friend I was with is half my size so our cage was slightly leaning toward my side but felt fine, very roomy. Tango Train - This was was a bit of a tight squeeze. The bar was pushed right into my stomach and I think if I was any larger I wouldn't have fit, the attendant that pushes the bars down tried once and it bounced back from my belly so he had to give it a harder push to get me in, but was still able to ride (though I am a bit sore today) Rotor - Again no issue. Dodgem City - Fit fine, my legs were the main problem here as I have quite long legs, but even another guy I saw that was about 200cm tall fit so it's a pretty friendly ride in that regard. Hair Raiser - I was shocked how well I fit on this ride. It has a weight limit of 136kg, though even at my size I wasn't questioned and the overhead support fit super well. Volare - I asked the attendant if this ride was fat friendly and she suggested I sit on the 2 person swing which made me laugh. Her intensions were in the right place, I hope. My friend and I ended up sitting together on a 2 person swing. The bar came down no problem, however, an attendant needed to adjust it as it wasn't locked in when it was on my belly and sort of needed to go under my belly to be locked. Though, if I knew what I was doing I probably could have fixed it myself without an attendant. Sledgehammer - Riders were stuck for an extended period of time at the end of their ride so I didn't get a chance / opted out of that one. Big Dipper - Kept this to last as it was the downer of the night. After seeing that same 200cm tall guy get told he was too tall to ride the coaster, I was next to feel the disappointment as the attendant pushed down on the lap bar to what I thought was an acceptable point as it locked in place and she walked away, only to come back 30 seconds later and say she needed to try again. After another attempt I could feel the problem was in my thighs when she was pushing down and even with her help I wasn't able to be 'safely' locked in. I had to do the walk of shame off the ride but when you're my size it comes to be expected sometimes. I was actually shocked at how fat friendly their rides were and now have a target to lose weight and go back to try the Big Dipper again in the future.

  8. I guess I was thinking more hypothetically, cause all those rides are really expensive like you mentioned, all on price tags equivalent to Disney & universal, if not more. I just feel like MW is lacking in immersive experiences, instead opting to buy coasters with next to no theming. The park's starting to feel like a six flags disguised as a world class themepark tbh.

  9. Wizard of OZ is screaming dark ride. MW ending up with the same ride as Gumbuya World is a tad embarrassing for MW management.
