Yeah your right, the park will never be removed because of its heritage status. If its gunna be there youd think itd be better for the immidate local economy to have it running rather then just a ghost town

Sounds amazing (but sad). Hart to picture what it actually looks like now. Alex you mentioned that you got a lot a photos, maps etc...any chance of you scanning them and posting them up???

To me it seems to be the same old argument. Its just like the idiots that complain about the foot trafic to and from the SCG / SFS and central station. That is to say that all residents are aware of whats in the area before they buy houses there. If they dont like it dont move near an amusement park in the first place....very simple if you ask me

Im assuming that he reviews all the posts in these fourums anyway. You can contact him in here by clicking above on "members list" find his name and there is a thing in there to send him emails. As for my photos the only ones i have are ones a few weeks before the closure of the park this year. However there are various photos throughout this site, just click on any thread in the wonderland section that has attatchments and see if they are photos or not.

Haha this is a "roller coaster" site. Of cos people know about cedar point, the home not only more coasters then any other park but also the home of the current world record holding coaster for speed and height (but not for long) And like i said "not many" on this site would have been there. You would be one of only a handfull at best.

Id doubt if many people (if any) on this site would have been there. However if i ever win lotto how bout we go and find out

Youd have to ask richard that question mate. However a lot of the bushbeast photos on this site belong to me. I have no problme with you using them. For that matter id be happy to send you thumbnails of all my wonderland pics in an email or something for you to have a look at

Hey guys noticed that wipeout is scheduled to reopen on monday 29. Was wondering if anyone has been there over the last week or so to see if they are starting to put it back together yet. Also dose it look as if it will be likely to be repening ontime? Just that the last pics we saw of it, it was in a zillion bits on the ground and havent head of any updates since...

yeah your right there was a discussion on the brakes in the "gd ideas" thread. for the record: the magnets that are attached to the gondola are some form of rare earth permanent magnets. so like the magnets on your fridge they work all the time no power required...although the magnets on GD are strong enough to probably pull your entire fridge through a wall so if you happen to pick up one of these magnets at the next dreamworld garage sale id avise not to stick memos to your fridge with it

YES! "people" DO read before they post. as i said the problem was that you didnt even bother to edit the clips that you 'borrowed' at all, just qued them up one after another. be the same as if i did a "tribute clip" to starwars and just played all the movies one after another...requires little effort as you can see take for example some half decent video work thats in the wonderland/sydney show vid thats on here... hey guess what has all the same footage (and more) to what you included however its been edited in an interesting way that fits the song its been put with.

yeah got it to work eventually are you serious man with that video....sorry to be critical 100% of the video clips you used are already on this site...surely you could have done a bit better then mashing them all together and adding some music.

Nah think of the costs of moving it to another place in the park, be too much. Anyway i dare say dreamworld do have a good idea of how they plan to build up the old TB site. they wouldnt have put it where it was if it was gunna be in the way later on

Nitpicking a little arent you bus??? (was better vs is better) They both still exist so i could pick the same errors with you and say Pattieboi is right to ask which IS better.

haha scotty read any thread on this site that goes for any amount of time and they all do the same thing. as for the thing about thongs it is a hygene issue..anyone that has ever caught a skin fungis from showers at a caravan park will know what im talking about

With thongs and things like that its actually a hygiene issue. Same goes for not letting guys ride with no shirt on etc. Ill give another example of this by public transport. You actually arent allowed to ride in taxis and busses if you dont have a shirt of footwear on. (however you still see it happening)
