Spoke too soon. My park kept crashing. It only started after I added the monorail (hopefully that can help anyone else who is having similar issues).

Rode WWF yesterday. Seemed all of the effects were wayyy off time. I also noticed some strobe lights at the top of the final drop - are they new? A simple fog machine + strobes would be a welcome addition up there.

Mine just crashed for the first time (except initially when any old saves would crash). Played it for about 17 hours since launch. lol.

Interesting. I know the other part of the courtyard facades got a fairly major revamp not too long ago. From memory that courtyard was looking pretty good. Wish they'd spend some time on the Main St buildings before going to town on this courtyard.

Does anyone know when the beta will LAUNCH Australian time?

Did the toilets have that brickwork before? Or was it a more plain render look?
-
Yes to both of those. Although I'm not a huge fan of the UI for the segment editing.

Can't wait til this game. I definitely enjoy playing the alphas already released, but I agree that the game play feels a bit lacking and soulless. Hoping the beta/full release is different in that department!

Luna Park Sydney seems to do Halloween right. Can't wait to experience one of their events first hand one day.

I've thought about that too. At the end of the day, it depends on what is in their contracts with DW. I'm definitely no lawyer, but I'm thinking there might be something in there that suggests if DW's actions affect their brand in a negative way, they can do X/Y/Z? Either way, I'm sure all of the co-branded companies have had discussions with their own teams and have plans in place if sh*t hits the fan for DW. I don't personally believe they would face branding problems except for Lego (maybe), as their opening announcement and media attention will be only a few months after this incident. Has construction continued during DW's closure?

Anyone end up booking the Silverwood Asylum? I think I have some bad news for you...

I'm not a huge fan of heavily-themed hotels. Even the Disney ones. I would like an art deco-style hotel though.- 499 replies

I've always found the MW bathrooms to be quite gross on the floors in the afternoon. I think its just water and dirt which forms the horrible muddy slime.

Interesting feedback guys. How did the two new mazes feel in terms of size (not length)? I remember last year they felt "tight", and people were saying that was because of the UTT stuff. A few years ago we were starting to get some pretty big sets built within the mazes. -

Conjuring 2 maze/theme seems more scary... but I don't really watch horrors so who knows what'll actually be best. -

I agree the Legends dining room is far from perfect. I had the misfortune of having Christmas dinner there, but I think for Halloween it might actually suit the location more, perhaps? Depends on the theming inside, I guess. -

It seems this year they've really expanded the footprint of the event, and used areas that are usually out the way, to avoid disruptions during day operations and around major attractions. GOOD JOB MOVIE WORLD! -

I think $15 for unlimited use is pretty good value. I can't remember Universal's pricing but I think it was about a $10-15 price difference for the interactive wands. I think prices started at around $50USD for the interactive wands. Granted, you got a pretty cool piece of merchandise for that cost, though. But the actual interactive stuff wasn't as cool as the stuff at MW, IMO. Either way, great job MW. Definitely an awesome addition and hopefully will even out the crowds throughout the park. -
With the TNT - is it a static prop or does it "explode"?

Visited the VL area today for the first time and LOVED it. Can't wait for all the interactive areas to be finished off. I did however notice a few major puddles forming (enough to get your socks wet) including at the entrance to the ride itself. I'm not sure how easy/hard these are to fix, but I hope they figure something out. -

Or just some trees hiding the fence would work too. -
I think @joz summed up my thoughts entirely. I really like the new area, especially how well it seems to improve the "flow" as you walk through the area. The facades and interiors look great, and it is definitely a bigger project than I first assumed. But I must say, the facades do seem awfully "blocky", and not a huge amount of attention to detail on the exterior facades. Also, while the interiors of the burger bar and coffee shop look GREAT, it still seems a bit "dated" and I'm not sure why (I honestly can't put my finger on it). Either way, it's a HUGE improvement and I don't think any further works over what it has now would really be seen as beneficial in the eyes of the GP.

I mentioned some time ago how I'd love to go through a maze with no lights... so if they took my idea... !
