Dreamworld March Update
Park Addict 93 replied to Gold Coast Amusement Force's topic in Theme Park Discussion
I actually enjoyed the audio, and to be fair it is not only Dreamworld that has issue with audio on coasters Arkham was originally due to debut with onboard audio, however didn't appear until much later and that didn't last long. -
Dreamworld Neon Nights Returns

Perhaps try and look at it logically, if the park was getting enough visitors for the events to be profitable why did they discount tickets drastically and stop putting on further events for a whole year? -

I have been to most of the recent ones, and it the "crowd" certainly had nothing on what they used to get, even with the discounted ticket offers. đPerhaps you are getting me confused with someone else as I spend my time at Dreamworld mostly on rides. -

Assuming it is signed off in time I wouldn't even put it past Dreamworld to not have it open, like what MW did not opening the Aquaman Exhibit during White Christmas. Can confirm the last few Park After Dark events have been dead, and yes tickets as low as $10 . They tried something different with the last event with tickets being more expensive and a performance by Guy Sebastian but it still was not overly busy. I'm glad to see them trying again, but disappointed at this stage it doesn't seem there will be any real drawcard. They are not even opening Kevil Hill, a previous "exclusive" to Park After Dark or doing the free V8 simulator's/Flowrider -
They share that tidbit on the "Backstage Tour" at AOS too.
-
Actually they were not available for purchase for quite a while, around the same time that sign was removed. They are now available in store for $5 (IIRC they previously were $10) Whilst intially they had wristbands tied to each interactive station they kept going missing so for quite awhile they have simply had plastic RFID cards.

Team A Vs B can be alright, as said before the main problem with Jet Stunt Extreme was no script just a show with stunts. Showtime at least know the importance of comedy/a script as the revisions to HWSD2 show. They just sent out a promo email, anyone else think this is what marketing came up with before legal made them change it? (Compare the text to the website)

I'm trying to be optimistic but the involvement of Showtime and BMX does not inspire confidence. It is now listed on the website. https://www.goldcoastbulletin.com.au/news/gold-coast/sea-world-unveils-new-multimilliondollar-stunt-show/news-story/83aeb8517adab30f4e15f7e95667eda2?fbclid=IwAR26UIwnXf8JCuV8BvgtFoyC19Hdo544n5m2kL8tSCyT2AHig8xBJg8od_s

Then why are they continuing to offer renewals at the discount? I think in Dreamworld's current circumstances having $99 for a year would better than nothing. Wouldn't it be better to position yourself as a budget option whilst the park is in need of major investment?
-
VRTP seem to be continuing on the adding "Bonuses" that require a further spend with their promos rather than discounting. New targeted product in between the 3 day pass ($129) and 7 day ($149) only available online and via 133 386. Considering the lack of crowds at Dreamworld I find it interesting they are still trying to get $129 for an adult annual pass for new pass holders rather than going back to the discount model. Season Passholes that expired in December can still get the $79 renewal. The summer 3 days for the price of 1 plus photo pass also seems to have been extended indefinitely.

I heard 130-135 most recently. First TopGolf deal/discount I have seen available to the public at large through ExperienceOz (TicketMates). Essentially unlimited soft drink and some wings/pretzels for the usual 2 hour rate.
-
I completely agree, and they originally did have âThirst Quencherâ when they introduced Hunger Buster. I think if there was a yearly option the amount of soft drink theft by locals would drop drastically. Every visit I see people with the old blue sippers (a lot missing the rfid sticker). Regardless of this current family offer itâs cheaper to buy a new all day sipper with One Pass ($7.99) then to reactivate an old one ($8.99).

A bunch of offers available for One Pass and membership holders too. Including B1GOF on Tropical Reef Snorkle, DCR Backwards, Sky Coaster and Flowrider https://themeparks.com.au/benefits/monthly-benefits

For those interested in providing feedback to VRTP I was recently emailed this link requesting it for MW and SW. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/mwgs18 https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/swgs18

Aquaman â The Exhibition at Movie World

I honestly donât have issue with the entrance, it is well done, despite being dressing as such on the existing infustructure. I have seen plenty of guests work out where the entrance is. -
Can confirm
-
Top Terrace - Same as daytime, with the addition of ice cream in a watermelon. Dockside Tavern - Same as daytime Prime Burgers - fish and chips, tray of fries, cheesy bacon fries Island Noodle Hut, Po Boys, Pulled Pork Burger, Ribs and Southern Fries Chicken. Pies at Village Bean and the Beer shipping container previously seen at FN and Afterglow migrated to the plaza. It really does feel low effort and simply exists mostly to make the one pass better value. They are not even doing lemonade anymore and the Carnivale Souvenir Cups were only available from the Frozen Coke Outlet. I had multiple guests stop me during the night and ask me where to get it.

Visited on Friday, same event as last year essentially. Food remains poor in comparison to Movie World's. Have to agree that Aqua-colour remains the highlight, but not worth visiting without inclusion in the One Pass. ,
