Maybe Spaceworld is just a covert name for a new Disney themepark? Wouldn't be the first time Disney used a covert name to purchase and develop land.... I'm not actually being serious though, but on the off chance im right, I was being serious.

We are aware that from now to now they check in and some people have already got in trouble.

Not just lights that can produce thousands of patterns insult me, but simple lights in my room insult me. When will the hate end? And guys he didn't just mean Nemo lights, there also going to scare us with other much loved Disney Characters like Pooh and Mickey. In fact, screw copyright law. EDIT- I may look like the evil guy that kept this going but note the time stamps. I was only one minute behind Klassen

Hahaha when I read it the first time I had to double take, Thinking back I recall a very colourfull roof used every like two minutes to portray a video which had the different effects on it or music videos or fireworks and such.. not a panel of LEDs like say... a giant piece of "paper" used at a certain Olympics opening ceremony? Has been a while since I've been to Nevada, so correct me, but don't insult me.

Stupid Question to ask on a forum. Do you expect an actual answer? Its like asking a room full of geeks if a Mac or a PC is better. Or (in the states) if a Zune is better than an iPod. Unless you own both, I say don't even voice your opinion guys. and I own both (and a Wii) and I recommend a PS3. Key reason, in three years when they start Phasing out DVDs for Blueray, you wont have to fork out for an additional Blueray player. But hey you can put the XBOX 360 with HD-DVD above your Betamax player

Seeing its set in Metropolis (New York) I would hope there was plenty of background sound like talking and trains rattling through every minute or so... Perhaps even some annoying boombox man just to shake things up... If there going to add aditional themes (Good work movie world), I would like to see a LCD screen at the entrance running through departure times.. Perhaps have a defunct Translink style turntable that people have to walk through with the man checking pockets at the front themed to be like a ticket collector or police officer... But that would cost money and effort...

I heard they were closing it temporarily and redeveloping it so that there can be access from outside the park as well? (the helicopter) Also, when they put The Claw down for maintenance did they re paint it?

How long is the attraction supposed to stay? Just over summer or..?

Now i just don't know what to believe! SOMEONE CLARIFFY DAMNIT! Only superman could answer a question as life threatening as what is that tail section for! And Alex, That remark about Scooby Doos fire sensing lazers is ridiculous. they'd be able to climb down the stairs while the roof retracts.

I thoughrougly enjoyed my day at the ekka yesterday! I only had to pay $16 to get in which is pretty cheap really, and i bought only two showbags, Megacop and Wonka so that was only $23! BARGAIN! To be fair, there was not alot to do... UNTIL WE GOT OUR MEGACOP SHOWBAGS and then promptly (and dressed in childrens police outfits) flirted with the police display police. Later, when our police outfits were discarded in the nearest trash recepticle we ventured onto some rides. Speed, Hard Rock, Slingshot, that other one that looked like speed, the rollercoasters and a return trip on the Chairlift. This is where the plot thickens. When we got off at the end (Sideshow alley side) we were promptly taken away by police because we were "making a neusense of ourselfes". Apparently someone was dropping things on the road next to the police station, and the first youths they saw they devided theyd arrest. We were let go with no issues after a little while. As to complainign about price, yes its abit expensive but seriously HARDEN UP. Your the same kind of person who says "Why would i want an iPhone, I already have a computer, phone and mp3 (probably a 5 year old Creative MuVo)" IMM. And yes Brunswick Street station is lovely this time of year isnt it Gazza?

Images of google could mean two things; Google Images? All photos are owned by there respective owners no matter what, you would have to look at the individual copyright conditions, but almost all photo sharing sites like Flikr have clauses which allow credited use of images, as all images are uploaded at owners risk. Picassa (owned by google) are copyrighted and may not be used without permission. Google Maps/Earth? The images/files used in both are copyright, but Google allows use of them on a commercial and personal use for free, as long as you do not cut out the Copyright Google/NASA or related co-branding. I assume jjuttp meant surfing the web for images of parks, and by Olimpics he meant a minor sporting event help between Candaian public schools every year in September.

Lets take a quick case study: You could purchase the photo used for the article on MDMC opening from the Courier Mail, for just $73 (Quoted price for most photos) There are more than 1000 photos on this site, so that equates to <$73000. Parkz is an independent source for theme park news, photos and more. All content copyright ©2002-2008 Parkz and its respective copyright holder. Any unauthorised use of Parkz content is expressly prohibited. Assumably you will then upload this to Youtube/Dailymotion this is also illegal, and copyrighted material can be removed at anytime, so i wouldnt post a link on here. Ever. Olimpic. Fail.

Although "'Tis" is kind of a word, you are obliged to write "It is". How much effort could that be anyway. We all make mistakes, but if you'r defending your spelling, try one post of pristine spelling and grammar. How many times must you ride, and how many razor blades must you loose before you get one to stick in a gap and not get washed out or cut yourself?

Gazza, your picture looks alot like the one over the entrance to WWW, will it look similar in your opinion? will it be see through?
-
I dont know why we even have the Off Topic Topic.
-
The terms used here confuse me, im not in on the local theme park "biz" but will it be like Van Helsing and Mummy Returns: C.O.D attraction thingos at Universal?
-
Doesnt the new "Mummy" movie come out around that time?

When i was a young tyke, ythe line would end further down and then youd take the life to the "top of the tower" and then those funky lights on the wall went with a voice over warning about a gas leak or something, on which you were evacuated out of the tower on the actuall ride. Keen observers may note the plothole in the fact you return to the station.

I phoned my parents and they also remember the time we were biking past it and there was an ambulance parked outside, they also reminded me the news report about a "middle eastern" boy who hit his head at one point on the ?shotgun? slide and was unable to be ressusitated. I am also now aware this was not an event that overly contributed to the parks closure. Remembering ive lived in two other countries since so if this pans out to be warped truth, sue me. And i also recall the slides at amazons were only updated when wetnwild sold them or another local park went bust.
