Figure 7 with a couple of circles around the thing in the middle by the looks. Looks like the stuff in the background has been thrown together to make the arena smaller. Looks crap to be honest. -
All they need to do is remove 1 section of track then replace it and people will just forget all about its previous problems.

Accident during Stunt Driver show at Movieworld

They could have made it interesting and set it up as a gymkhana track. Wouldn't really be a tie-in to anything but it would be fun to watch. -

Sea World - Creatures from the Deep
Reanimated35 replied to Zanstabar's topic in Theme Park Discussion
IMO it's not terrible. Depends what the rest of it looks like though and how/where it fits in to the rest of the theme. If it's just that hanging on the side of the building, it's kind of "meh" which is what I'm expecting, but they could stick the head on top so it can be seen from the chairlift/choppers. -
Same manufacturers, different rides.

Well there you go. You learn something new every day. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0053221/ However based on the description, either I chose the wrong movie or this would only be a tie-in as well? -

Is this their answer to Dreamworld's V8 attractions? -
I'm wondering if they'll just cut their losses and switch to one of the other car designs. Isn't GL one of only a couple of those coasters to feature the 8 seat cars?
-
^ That's to cater to all the overseas readers who think Australia is always upside down, so when they read it, they were just stuck the right way up on the coaster.

The Parkz Update Sea World, May 2015
Reanimated35 replied to Parkz News's topic in Theme Park Discussion
"Sea World are running a small fountain in the pool on Jet Rescue to minimise plant and algae growth. Take note, Dreamworld." It would be nice if they themed it to a small volcano as a bit of a homage to BT. I know it wouldn't really fit the area, but it would still be nice. -

Head & Shoulders? They've already got a movie tie-in. They'd fit right in. -

So we have an Italian village, with shops sponsored by selling out to Australian companies, a petrol station from the 50's, a big ass table in the middle nowhere, posters for a show by Houdini, Australian cars and Japanese bikes. What a drawcard! Why isn't this the parks leading advertisement?!!?! -
What about call centre employees? Or do you hate me enough already?

Sea World - Creatures from the Deep

So are we thinking permanent in that area or just an elaborate setup? At least if it's just a setup, they can use it for ride theming later. -
Adventure World 2015 - 'Mi2' Kraken Tornado slide
Reanimated35 replied to Tim Dasco's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Being perfectly honest, and please consider I haven't seen the ride or area in person, I don't see it. To me, that just looks like the park couldn't be bothered mowing the grass. If you were going with that idea of the unkempt look, I still think druids would have cleared an area to work in, even if it was just pulling/flattening some grass without mowing it. Plus the whole green grass area with the druids looks more overgrown than themed to anything in particular, and IMO doesn't suit the "deathly" theme the ride looks like it's trying to convey. In my opinion, and I don't know the safety side on this but it's quite probably not viable, but back-burning that area would give it a nice "dark" (no pun intended) feel. If that's not viable, maybe some black paint for the grass in that area? -

Wouldn't this plus this do the trick? I know my dad's still got both of those. -

I would have thought work cover wouldn't help them in this situation, or are they trying to claim the operator of the slide didn't do enough to fence it off? -

This is why you should never use digital zoom. Now I know someone's going to come in and say I should be appreciative that someone's taking photos, and that's great, but if you're going to promote your own page and stick watermarks all over the photos, you'd want to ensure they're actually decent quality. All they're advertising is a place to go for low resolution, pixellated photos. -
^ I very much doubt it. If you think that the water has to be shot 60m into the air, that's a lot of pressure involved. Now I'm not going to tell you to go shove your shower head up your ass to find out how bad it is with such little pressure, but it's a lot less pressure than what the fountain would have.
