I'd still consider UAE to be fairly popular. Have several customers call each week to say they're going on holidays and spending some time in Dubai
-
But imagine if it was all tied into one! The worlds tallest, fastest, steepest, flying, steel, wooden, inverted, stand-up, looping, water coaster! New to Dreamworld this christmas!

I went with the drifting coaster

Assuming we're talking no budget limits Disney would be great over here as a family park Universal would be like movieworld was. Not really much point IMO of bringing it over - let's just fix up MW again Paramount - no comment as I've never been to one Cedar Fair - Only ever been to Knotts which was great, but basically Dreamworld so we could just fix DW up. Not sure about other CF parks Six Flags - Hell yes. Screw the theming, spend more money on kick ass rides with basic or no theming. Legoland - I wasn't overly impressed with much except the minitures they have built there. So screw the kids.

So I got bored again and fired up RCT3 again. Going for a smaller park this time so I can hopefully actually bother to finish it. Firstly, the mine train: And I'm tossing up between a Flying coaster or a Drifting coaster running through here, probably drifting though...

Well there's your problem At Sea World you can make contact with marine life wonders and experience a whole world of amazing rides, shows and attractions at a Gold Coast theme park favourite! More than just a theme park, Sea World is committed to educating guests about the marine environment, and playing an active role in Australian marine research and rescue. So if your friends can't do any research to find out what the park is all about, that's their problem. A themepark is more than just rides, especially one based around marine life. Compare our park to the Seaworlds in the USA and you will find we actually have more rides at the moment. (7v6)

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/magazine/7633617.stm Keeping in mind he had to stand upright once per hour for medical checks. Safe to say an hour is fine as long as it's not being done often I guess -
There was someone on another forum who did something like what you're doing, and I was considernig doing the same thing at one point, there is construction scenery you can get with cranes and stuff. Would be interesting to see the construction in progress...

I would have assumed since we were fixing SFNO, that it would still be SFNO....

However water slides don't have as many moving parts. -
Did there use to be a toboggan ride near Brisbane?

RCT3 Disney World, Magic Kingdom Recreation

No offence, but didn't the last attempt at a much smaller park fail? -
Seaworld san diego or legoland california. Can't remember as it was back in june. Both were pretty good parks with short wait times. Wasn't much to do at legoland apart from the miniture lands they made. Seaworld is the standard marine park I guess. Just better show than what you get here.

As far as noise restrictions go. Did MW have a lot of issues with complaints from the local residents already? The noise regulations state 10pm HOWEVER a complaint can be made to council at ANYTIME for excessive noise. As far as the safety goes, I don't care if it is just for revenue. If it means more money for park expansions I'm happy to pay a bit more. I've also always though loose items on an coaster is a bad idea regardless of how tame the ride is or how secure the items are
-
Sure it might be annoying, but lets look at the possible scenario.... A guest with a bag at their feet goes on the ride. At one of the higher points of the ride they accidentally kick the bag out of the car. The bag then hits someone on the track below. Movieworld is responsible for the injury to that person for not taking due care in preventing the accident. The ride would also then be likely closed while the bag is collected and track inspected to ensure nothing has been caught on the track. Lets say that process takes 20min all up. Then (I'm assuming here but might be wrong) the ride would have to be sent around at least once with an empty test cycle. So all up including load and unload times you would be looking at 30-40 minutes downtime which could have all been prevented by not taking a bag on the ride. Yes there are several thousand rides overseas which allow loose items and that's great for them, but they also are likely to have more relaxed laws or more income to cover any legal bills.

Plus if it was enforced that only serious discussion was allowed this place would be pretty boring. I also remember having been able to wander straight on to WWF with no queue

:DYes thanks
