That's an interesting article. I noticed right at the end, they referred to White Water World as Whitewater Bay.

I've seen some interviews with some of the characters. Apparently it is quite hard work. They do look for people with an accent, and you have to stay in character the whole time, even when talking to other staff members. There are news articles around the place about this.

This. As much as we complain and see it as a bad park, the majority of the general public actually see Dreamworld as the better theme park on the Gold Coast.

You can easily see the ride from across the broadwater. Putting it in front of the park wouldn't have changed how visible it is much. The only people who would have a better view are the people driving past the entrance to the park.

Yeah... that was a bit of a stupid statement on my behalf... Completely forgot about the ones in America, and immediately assumed that they're being used mainly in Europe, but again, never realised the temperature fluctuated that much.

Australia is a new climate for these coasters AFAIK, they're built for cooler climates. Not that that would cause many problems. It's likely that they have to configure a few things, make sure that different loads works etc.

Both rides used the same system though, so it's unlikely. BT turned out as a very good investment for the park, and BT used the same ride system, so they very likely lost little to no money out of the decision.

They may be waiting on certification or who knows what. They need to make sure the structure is perfectly safe before you can start having naked flame inside a building full of people and potentially flammable materials.

That looks really cool! It appears to have some good speed as it goes into the building. One thing I'm disappointed with is that they didn't go to the effort of making the gravel areas a shallow pool of water, just to add to the theme a bit.

They don't have to visit Dreamworld. They'll only visit it if they think it will be worth it.

What kind of questions do they ask you for an interview for a job at a theme park? I've been to a few interviews before for different things, and they often have some strange questions that you never expect...

They don't have the big budget and near infinite pools of money that Gold Coast parks have...

Yeah, this isn't going to happen. The developers will need to pull off some kind of genocide on farmers... Thats not even considering anything else...
