  1. Adventure World has submitted an application for a new ride for 2025, with the removal of Rampage plus Inferno and Black widow getting much older (Black Widow was closed this entire season) I personally recon we might see a new dry ride rather than water. My pick would be a Gerslaur sky roller, I guess time will tell.
  2. Mind the bad quality screenshot but found a review response on Google that states another announcement is coming soon. Being 8 years since the last major addition one can only hope something comes for next season. However worth taking with a grain of salt as the article post in 2019 did not also come to happen.
  3. Dreamworld flyer and that and Dreamworld theatre, could well indeed not be talking about Rivertown as well.
  4. Very much taking whats been said out of context. Greg has said he will only do a Lazy River if its gonna be something special and not just an of the shelf lazy river that is considered the shitter option. When WWW gets investment it will most likely get a lazy river at some stage. Dreamworld just needs a lot more $$ spent on it in the short term.
  5. A big thing to also note is University workers can and many do work full time while studying. I have worked full time during my entire degree in hospitality and in my final year I am now working a job in my field of study, In addition to working full time in Hospitality. Which means I am paying my student loans down while studying as well and have built super.
  6. That means 6-10 weeks before testing starts? Having visited dreamworld last weekend. I struggle to see this being opened before February at the earliest. I hope I am wrong and they can pull some sort of miracle.
  7. Despite the track not being fully completed. The footage shows track bits having been removed. Which would mean 0 testing is taking place.
  8. I would IMHO still think WWW is fine for a bit longer, money is better spent on the main DW park than WWW with another major thrill ride hopefully moving forward.
  9. Logan Steel installed the track, they didnt make it. All Mack rides track are made by hand in Germany. The track was half made already sitting in a field in China when Dreamworld brought it. From what I have been told.
  10. Can we talk about how good this would be if they did actually build a Willy Wonka themed dark ride?
  11. Found this on facebook thought I would share. _______ Warner Bros. Movie World Unveils "Wonka's Chocolate Factory Adventure" Dark Ride Warner Bros. Movie World is excited to announce the upcoming debut of "Wonka's Chocolate Factory Adventure," a world-class indoor river boat ride that will replace the Junior Driving School. Created by Intamin, world leaders in safety for water rides, this immersive experience will take guests on a magical journey through the enchanting world of Willy Wonka. Set to close in late 2024, the Junior Driving School will make way for the construction of "Wonka's Chocolate Factory Adventure," with work scheduled to begin in January 2025. The ride is expected to open in late 2025 and promises to be the most immersive and exciting ride ever built at Warner Bros. Movie World. "We are thrilled to partner with Intamin to bring 'Wonka's Chocolate Factory Adventure' to life," said Bikash Randhawa, Chief Operating Officer of Village Roadshow Theme Parks. In addition to "Wonka's Chocolate Factory Adventure," Warner Bros. Movie World is also preparing to unveil The Flash Speed Force coaster, The Wizard of Oz, and the refurbished Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster in the coming years. Movie World will bid farewell to the Doomsday Destroyer ride, with details of its replacement to be announced in the near future. "Watch this space!" Stay tuned for more updates as Warner Bros. Movie World continues to bring the magic of the movies to life! Please note that this press statement is purely fictional and created for April Fools' Day.
  12. So this means once school holidays are over nothing will be open past Gotham. Showcase gone, Doomsday closed, Scooby Closed, Dodgems Closed and Wild West Down.
  13. The Cost to re build the Sky Voyager facade back to suit the area, while I believe is important to do at some stage, the capital can be better spent in the short term on more impactful projects that have better ROI. Such as a new ride. While impactful these works on Main street is more or less just repainting. The cost to rebuild the facades on Sky Voyager will be significantly higher.
