Adventure World 2015 - 'Mi2' Kraken Tornado slide
Tim Dasco replied to Tim Dasco's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Hopefully they leave just enough room of that building for AW to buy for their maintenance buildings and offices. @iwerks with what your saying that would be cool. Maybe AW could then make a deal with whoever does it and they can have 2 day passes one day for AW another day for other stuff to try and make it more than just one day vacation area. -
I have been trying to find some information on it now. From what I could find it was manufactured by ARM manufacturing. This company has discontinued this product according to their website it is no longer listed however they say they still sell replacement parts. This company is responsible for the Quasar (Flash Dance). The Super Bowl ride is for sale it is owned by a WA ride operator and it only taken around WA.

I realised that once I posted it. Their maintenance buildings and offices I believe are the buildings down the bottom. The Masters store compared to AW. The only way I think it could work would be if someone brought it and made it into multiple warehouses and sold each of individually and then AW brought one unit. But as AW is a seasonal park I am assuming they need somewhere to store a lot of stuff that gets removed IE ride parts, theming, shade sails, tubes and so on. -

Just had a thought. When you said moving maintenance areas. What about looking into buying Masters building across the road when they close down? That would save you having to build the building itself. Really would depend on how much masters are selling of for really. Then you have another overflow carpark. But I wonder how much the store would cost. * Western Power must love receiving your power bill. -
The RMS ride list is now up. The Jungle Kingdom Dark ride is heading to RMS so is Mega Drop, Beast and Python Loop. Fingers crossed Infinity and TPA's Huss pirate ship come to PRS. https://royalshow.com.au/attractions/rides/coca-cola-thrillseekers-carnival/

So go on the ride with your enemy. -
Yup. The only thing would be putting the extra safety stuff in. IE some rides will not operate unless gates are closed and so on. But for a ride like Tea Cups and saucers all I would need to do differently is add a few more motors and maybe lights.

So its my last day at TAFE doing my electrical pre-app and we were wiring up control pannel to 3-phase motors. While doing this I realised I just wired up the electrical components for a ride. On/off switch, emergency stop, all internal electrical stuff and then the 3-phase parts and motor. All I wanted to do was to put something on the end and then have my own little ride.

With only 17 days till the IGA Perth Royal Show commences. The ride list has come out and officially one new ride has been confirmed and we have been told that more will be out soon. The new ride is called "The Extreme Thriller" which made its Debut to the major traveling show circuit this year (Adelaide Show) is making its way West and will be coming to the show this year. We will keep you updated as more rides are announced. This is good news considering some old classics not return like the Python Loop. Stay tuned for more infomation. So I was right that it was coming west. Hopefully the other few new rides from the RAS coming to the PRS. Including the travelling pirate ship. That will get some people in the gates.

The Cable Car from Singapore to Santos Island is a tourist attraction. However it has a large capacity. It is like the one they are trying to build over the swan river from Kings Park to Elizabeth Quay and then down to the new stadium. I am pretty sure each cart can hold around 6 people concretely and they have air-conditioning.

Or they could get a cable car system like Singapore has to Sentosa Island. Heck they even have a bridge going over to Sentosa which has travelators going the whole length so you can walk over.

If I had of one the 1.2 Billion dollar lottery they had in America not long ago. I am sure I could have donated 300 million to AW for a few B&M's, Intamins, and so on.- 17 replies

Why can't people just appreciate these photo updates. If you don't want to see another photo update don't cheek the forum. Nobody is forcing you to look at these pictures. I doubt you will complain when you see thousands of photos of MW's coaster construction. Let's adopt the saying if you have nothing nice to contribute to the forum don't comment. Some people are just being rude lately. When people are going out of their way to post an update for us to enjoy. Some people who live on the other side of the country can't see it themselves.
