It could still be a while - they could very well be waiting until just before construction begins. It's most likely only going to be opening in September or December 2017, and assuming it takes around a year to build it could still be two or three months until anything is announced if they're waiting for construction to begin before dropping anything. A few teasers would be cool though, like BGW did.

I've heard that when the ride is smooth the old B&M restraints are a lot better because they're not as restrictive.

Wow, that really does sound truly amazing. Turns out my birthday coincides with the second last star tour (I think?), so hopefully I'll be able to beg family members for some cash. Only problem I see is if I have a midsem exam on that day, which looks like it might be rather likely seeing I have 3 of them. Maybe I'll be able to do the last one, although I get the feeling that that one is going to book out quickly and I won't be able to get the cash early. But the real question is, who is the coolest parkz member outside of the forums???

A bit of a bump here... My dad was working with Wanda group on one of their current projects down in Sydney last week. Apparently he's heard talk of a theme park either on the Gold Coast or in Sydney, and the Jurassic Park theme seems to be very likely. That's all I've heard I'm not sure when he's going back down there but if he gives me any more info I'll tell you.

They need to weigh up the pros and cons of having a boomerang. Sure, it's a classic but eventually classics become outdated and boring. Something modern and technologically-advanced would be what they want. I like the idea of the launched shuttle - keep away from Vekoma and get someone like Premier to do something similar to Demon but with more modern features such as the launch. It's like using a typewriter of a computer because it's a 'classic'. Get something similar - but at the same time make sure it's modern and not built by Vekoma
