Ride is in maintenance again based for SWs website

I drove past MW at about 1:30 and saw the ride had stopped at the top, and straight away I thought, I wonder how long it will be before the media 'reports' on this.

It appears that the Vikings Revenge at Sea World has reopened as its maintenance has been removed off the website. Happy days.

At this stage it was just one big one

Just been to MW to check out these footers and the construction in the carpark, and wow they are getting on with them so quick, and there are so many of them. They are literally everywhere now near GL and heading towards AA. I couldn't get photos as close at TPSN because there were workmen every where and machinery moving around.

DD maintenance has been extended again and is now reopening Wednesday 23rd November

There wasn't a video at the top, but one about 3/4 of the way up with the guy saying, 'what y'all still doing here'. When I rode it a month or so ago it was broken and played about 3 times as we passed.

It was just the first thing that came to mind, but there is definitely a chance it could be another one of those.

I have a number of friends who work at both DW and WWW and have been in contact with them over the last few days asking about how they are doing, how the parks doing and what they've been up to. All are doing well and are all really glad to be back at work and do what they can to prepare the park for reopening. One friend works in admistrarion and ticketing and is doing general work around the park and replying to emails and calls from people. Another friend works with the koalas mainly, but has been helping with the other wildlife. They are performing usual routines, including Croc feeding around the usual times of the park being open. They are having a lot of interaction with the kangaroos like they usually would. The other friend works at WWW and is a slide operator, they are currently assisting with the check over of the slides and helping where needed throughout the parks.

Looking at those lamp posts and the timber trunks, is actually not a fan of them, and don't think they match the area at all, in my opinion. I think I actually preferred them more when there wasn't anything and it was just a white post.

@Gold Coast Amusement Force they are keeping it, but they are just replacing the slide.

Was just about to say that as I was driving past I could see the footings closest to AOS are poisoned in which looks like it will the coaster will have a banked turn:

The BRO is more of a orange and blue, but I get what you mean. But the colours do look similar to the shade sail of the AquaLoop queue.

Maybe I misheard then, but definitely did hear them say that park won't reopen until staff are satisfied

I'll also add that this morning on the radio that most of the ride checks at DW have been completed, but the park won't reopen until the ride operators are satisfied with the rides and their operation.

It was so surreal to go to the park enetrance and there to literally be no one else, just me. There were plenty of cars, but no people. And it also gave me a time to pay my respects and not be hassled by media. All flowers have been removed now, but someone still show their respects by laying flowers on the stairs, which was nice to see.

New track is yellow and blue and installation has begun today. The end of the slide is currently being installed.

General park update: Some new elements/theming/decoration has been added to The Plaza. And the white picket fence that was behind the frozen coke stand has been removed. The boat propellor has been removed from storm I really wish/hope they replace the shade sails in Polar Bear Shores The Humpback still hasn't been put back in place And it wouldn't be an update from me without a photo that was taken the right way up but uploads upside. Anyways, here's some nice boulders on the old Sea Viper site

From seeing the ride today, I really do just think that the ride is undergoing a general maintenance period, but just don't know how long some things will take to repair. Im not going to rule out the ride completely closing, but really really hope it doesn't.

When I last rode it there definitely wasn't a strobe light up there, or a fog machine. And since the the refurb it really seems like all effects are having some issues with timing, especially the train one.

Or if you are referring to all the TNT, yeah I noticed.

Killer Croc is always spraying out water, do the figure is slippery and isn't exactly the best for climbing, and if anyone tries to climb it they will get wet. And it is a much bigger and stronger figure. And it would look stupid with a barrier around it. I did see today a girl stood over the small pipe that sticks up from the ground, then as her mum went to pull her away, some activated the water and the full blast of water went off and they both got soaked, was very funny to see.
