  1. We could potentially see it open in October/November. Rivals track was completed early June and opened in late September
  2. 7 day operation will return for the winter school holidays, but with the 10-4 hours. Then it will go back to 4 days until the September holidays
  3. HAHAHA oh you have no idea. That would actually be very difficult and would take years upon years of planning and approvals. The biggest issue would be crossing over the motorway.
  4. Two rains are shown in the concept POV And the tunnel will be before the loop and according to the video, there will be an access path/bridge to get from Main Street to the Giant Drop
  5. The park never stated they were getting two, but it was always assumed. The video may have the parts for both trains, but because they’ll look the same, there is no way in telling. Hopefully we do get two, the queue length will be insane during the busy periods
  6. Yeah it looks like it and that will be awesome. A coaster like this will be awesome, but adding in all this rock work to launch through and weave in and out of will take it to another level
  7. The first half of the coaster is almost complete. The track that leads into the loop was installed today, plus more supports
  8. The first time I saw Water World was at Universal Japan. No English at all in the show and I thought it was the best thing ever
  9. Generally train maintenance should be commented when a ride is closed for maintenance
  10. I was listening to the most recent episode of the Park Life podcast over the weekend, featuring Warren Luff (who is one of the key leaders in the Hollywood Stunt Driver shows). At one point they discussed how when the Hollywood Stunt Driver changed to HSD 2, Showtime FX was given the contract to create the show, etc. (This was something I did already know, but just giving some background info). Mike Croaker said how the older shows in the main arena where created in house and operated by VRTP. Now, I am not bagging out Showtime FX because I can only imagine how much time, effort and skill goes into the shows and they are pretty good at what they do. They have a very talented team. However, I do wish the shows were still created in house. I’m sure the VRTP team still have their say on the shows, but they would mostly be directed by Showtime. Hollywood Stunt Driver was a great show (not quite at the level that Police Academy was), but the second version has never really got to that level. Great stunts, but the storyline has always seemed a bit confused or unpolished. And now Thunder Lake Stunt Show. The stunts are also great, but the story just isn’t the best. My point being, should the parks go back to creating these shows once again? Or how could Showtime improve/expand the current offerings?
  11. Makes sense. They will probably just always have the spinning train running and during peak periods have the other train operating too. This allows for extra normal seats for more riders that don’t want to pay the up charge of the spinning gondola.
  12. This was the original post and he had commented on it
  13. This year is also Dreamworld 40th birthday, do we think we will see some celebrations for this milestone? Maybe they’ll open Steel Taipan on their birthday?
  14. According to TPSN, the announcement is about the parks 30th anniversary
  15. I would have loved to have seen this version of the ride at DW. It would have definitely been a more complete ride.
  16. I would like to know more about you and what you do. I’m a new drone pilot but it is to my understanding that what was filmed isn’t legal. I’m happy for you to private message me if you’d like
