I'm fairly sure it has said that since the show started last year and they haven't updated it. On the line below it says there are Aries stunts (referring to the motor bikes that aren't in the show any more)

Last time I went on it (about a month ago), that scooby wasn't moving his mouth, but his whole body was shaking slightly as the audio played.

As long as if the show has a good storey line, the theming has been fixed up (or at least a lot better than what it was) then it will be an improvement. I'm hoping they introduce some forms of comedy to the show again as well.

^I'm pretty sure DW just combined the areas as on the park map it just say Gold Rush Country. But I don't have a major issue with that area. With Ocean Parade, if they removed the Redline then I think the area is fine. I think Zombie Evilution does have some link to the area with the theming of the exterior or the building. They do need to extend the blue ground work around all of Ocean Parade however. If Redline was moved to the MDMC food stall, it would make more sense. If the new V8 supercar attractions were in this area as well it would create a new motorsport themed area. For the TOT, because it doesn't link to any of the themed areas surrounding its entrance, if they moved the entrance pathway to start from the MDMC area, it may provide more of a link to the possible motorsport area, rather than the Tiger Island/ABC Kids area. However I don't know if that would be possible, just a thought

I personally think that because it goes slower, it is better. At moments such as: the first turn to the left after the first brake section and the moments when you go upside down; these are more thrilling because of the slower speed. It adds to the thrill of the ride and can make me feel like you are going to fall out, as the feeling I get when I ride the BuzzSaw.

^When i went to MW last month, I'm fairly sure that the fence didn't have the grass imaging on it and usually that is a sign that something is happening to that space.

It is for the boat show, just had a look on their website and that area is being used for the park and ride.

One thing we've got to remember is MW don't own the carpark or that land, they rent it off the council (unless it has changed). And that grassed area has been used for small events in the past. That grassed area has been used for Sanctuary Cove boat show parking and Christmas Carols. If anything, I'd imagine that it would be an extention of the current carpark.

I doubt that they remove the ride since it is new and I think its a great addition to the park. Once it reopens I'm defiantly going to be going back on. It may take time, but I'm sure it will open again. As for the change of trains, as Zanstabar said, the track and station was designed for the 8 seater trains and if they replaced them with only 4 seaters, then I would say that it would affect the performance of the ride. I think they are going to figure out why things went wrong (obvious they will do that) and then check all trains (maybe buy new ones) do weeks of testing and then reopen it.

More change have been made

The theme park social network have said that there is a chance it could be open in August. I wouldn't say this is the most reliable source, but thought I'd post it. I know the issue was with the car, but do people think there is a chance that track may been to be replaced or modified?

Dreamworld have released the new pass with entry until June 2016. They have brought back the Buy 3 get 1 Free offer. And they have said that the new motor sport attraction will be opening this summer.

^The Big Red Boat is staying the same, it's the Captain Feather swords ship that is changing.

Pathways are starting to be installed. There appears to be a lot of gravel and sand in the background.

I doubt that they would be re branding. I would say they are expanding the area and adding a couple more attractions maybe.

My guess is the new attraction will either be something for wiggles world (probably this since the sign is gone) or the new v8 supercar attraction that was announced earlier in the year.

From VRTP perspective they should make the prices more expensive as then their profit would be greater and they may be able to add more attractions, or improve current attractions. But from a general publics perspective, they won't pay higher prices now. VRTP set the bar by making them $99, if they increased the price now, their sales would probably reduce and Dreamworld's would probably increase if they didn't increase their prices. I would say that most people would want value for money. If they increased the prices, people would question and expect a lot more. That's just my opinion.

I agree, but they may still be doing upgrades to the themeing for a couple of months. They aren't rushing into it all, but hopefully once they have finished the update it will all make sense, and the show will have a decent story to it. The new vehicle will help out with the themeing as well I think:

The set of HSD2 has got a few more new additions. Hopefully once the changes are finished the updated show will be a lot better than what they've got going now
