I wish the park would do something about this corner as you enter the WB Kids area. The area (while nothing amazing) used to tie in well to the theme. Now it’s just a wall they can change the print on, with what was there poking up behind (Photo from TPSN)

They’ve done a play on words for the Gold Coaster during Winterfest. “The Cold Coaster”.

Polar Bear Shores is closed for maintenance, something I’ve never seen before. Patrick’s is also closed until further notice because of Leviathan construction.

@Slick I now how much passion you’ve had for the park, especially it’s golden year and all the history the park has. During your time there and with the opportunities you had, did you get the chance to discuss the possibilities of reducing the classic Dreamworld? When you were redoing the content, did you explore the older stuff and try bring it back where possible? Or were the park wanting to still move away from that

It’s an unlucky day for DW with ride operations. BuzzSaw and SkyVoyager closed, MDMC and the claw also seemed to be having some issues. It was quite a busy day at the park too. But, the park were handing out free Dreamworks show bags to all guests as they were leaving

All of DWs thrill rides have reopened today

Usually they begin maze construction in June and July. I’d say we will have 5 mazes again, but we’ll see the 3 new ones from 2019 return. Or we could potentially see more in-house themes this year

Mike also teased another vehicle for the 30th anniversary, I’m thinking it could be Speer racer.

In today’s Park Life episode, it was mentioned that there will be attraction announcements coming later in the year

If this is true, then DW should definitely not say “look at our shaded seating area” and should say a future attraction is coming soon. I think it’s great they are removing the ride rather than waiting until they are ready to build something new. Maybe a sign in the area to say, “exciting new attraction coming soon”. And if they publicly say, we’ve got a new shaded seating area, then follow it with but a new attraction is coming

A part from the twisting track on the launch, is there much left to go?

It will be interesting to see how much they remove. Does everyone think they’ll drain the water storage and fill it in like they did with river rapids? Im expecting to see most, if not all of the rides buildings and lift hill to be removed

Maintenance team were still working on Gold Coaster at 5:40 when I drove past

I went and checked them out last weekend. They are pretty good, but Tiger Island are definitely the best
