  1. We learnt from DC Rivals construction, once the first pieces go in, it comes together very quickly. For comparison, it took four months to install all DC Rivals track. Rivals is almost 1.4km long and Steel Taipan will be almost 1.1km long
  2. They haven’t had crowds like that for some time now, but those queues some ridiculous, especially if they aren’t operate rides to the max. There was a time when no matter what, every school holidays, the rides would operate with every train. And even remember a time when on weekends they would sometimes operate with all trains. But the fact they were operating the park like it was a normal week day is insane. What you doing VRTP.
  3. That would be the most confusing name ever. It’s honestly more confusing than Justice League: Alien Invasion 3D - The Ride
  4. They don’t necessarily need the top of the tower to operate, so maybe they are still waiting for it to arrive at the park. So in the mean time, the ride will operate with no top.
  5. For anyone who really wanted to know, the led light strips are still at the top of the tower
  6. At least they don’t post about rides that are closed for maintenance... unlike VRTP
  7. They must be waiting on parts from overseas for such lengthy delays in reopening
  8. Crane on site installing more track this morning And here’s a potato photo of the track installed
  9. MW entry is actually $99 online or $109 at the gate
  10. They are marketing the ride within an upcoming night event, but the website still says it’s opening soon
  11. They’ve had a policy on full face masks, but there hasn’t been a pandemic while the events been on, so they’ll probably allow the face masks used currently
  12. I’d say masks will be required (maybe not for the whole event), but definitely in mazes. And they make only make your party go through the maze rather than grouping you with others
  13. For those wondering if the steam train is still at the park or not... yes it is (to the left of the blue maintenance vehicle) And, why don’t DW open up these stairs to access the Giant Drop? Because of the construction you can access the usual stairs at the entrance to the ride. So you need to head up the spaghetti ramps, but why not keep these stairs open for access too?
  14. I’ve just been. They are pretty busy. Some reasonable queues for more rides and a lot of people everywhere in the park They have also removed the wall that was under the waterfall in Corroboree, so visually it looks much better. But none of the attractions are open behind it.
  15. According to the website, 4 things are closed. That’s the same as MW. So don’t bother with MW either
  16. It’s decent. There are some cool lego sets to look at. It’s worth heading down if you like lego
  17. More importantly, this looks like it will be the entrance to the ride
  18. You do realise this is a common thing to do right? Disney and universal have announced attractions years before anything happens. Sea World announced the New Atlantis back in 2019, well before construction began and they are still going
