  1. I know its a 'how longs a piece of string' question, but now day testing is happening and the areas theme seems to be coming together, rough guesses on preview/cold opens and official openings?
  2. Thats why a fake tour like Backdraft works well. Its made up to how people imagine movies are made + gives off the cool special effects + it can eat people and get them out of the sun and it can be soundproofed to not disturb the nearby actual studio.
  3. The old backlot tour would be a best of both worlds. Show off studio sets, absorb large amounts of people and the queue for the tour can be through a showcase to show off other things like costumes ect. Could even be a backlot tour similar to backdraft, so save on paying actors wages. Unless it breaks the whole 3m flame argument from the other thread.
  4. As long as the fire escape diagrams aren't suggestive, especially with placement of the Ball Room and Activity Center
  5. So, a perfect Parkz post. Honestly, just do what everyone says to do on here each time stuff like this is posted. Silently judge the info based on past performance and industry knowledge.
  6. Ignorance here, but wouldn't you just need to install a like, fireproof 'box' as such above to capture/stop the flame?
  7. There is room. If they want something they will make room or make it fit the room. The opposite side to GL could have a small footprint coaster, behind WB Showcase could fit something, or with some (pretty major) works, near the dam/carpark behind WWF.
  8. There are other practical effects that would look 1000% better and not be a fire risk, things like 'cold sparks' or properly insulating the area of the effect.
  9. Amazingly, I think I know him through work and he lives in Adelaide
  10. Sounds odd also, because the base of the GL ride area has potential to flood and with more rain on the way, not an ideal situation.
  11. Would it fit inside Superman? Phrasing, but what ever. Edit: Surfrider also has a 140cm height limit. Are their new restraints that could lower the height limit to 120~130cm?
  12. Just a visual warning of what happens when you build your house out of sticks/straw. the first 2 little pigs are idiots.
  13. Great update and photos. I know buddy site is likely a typo and you meant buggy, but it still kinda fits and I like it. I also hate how constrictor is alone in that splash zone. Such a big landing area for 1 slide, kinda disappointing.
  14. Yes, totally sure they use the same concrete mixture, construction methods and finish applied between flooring and high traffic walls.
  15. Personally I'm a pro Launcher. Give every launch a chance!
  16. Look, I don't think Disney is coming, but if they were to build here, the Sunshine Coast is an option. Plenty of land and also technically an international Airport (that would need major investment, but thats part of the Disney draw), otherwise Western Sydney with their new airport isn't a bad shout either. I can't see VIC, SA, NT or WA getting it over NSW (major population/tourism) and QLD (Tourism).
  17. We need a shovel emote for when people double down.
  18. I've personally never ridden a woodie, so I'm keeping quiet on that discussion. I love Superman, but its just too short for my liking. I wish it had another element or 2, which is why Rivals takes it for me. without being on ST at DW yet, GL takes #3 with JR #4, and I know many people hate GL but what ever.
  19. It's been 9 years, surely your NDA would have run its course? Mines is various but in reality about 4 years for financial data + legal agreements and contracts for a large, international inancial institution.
  20. The Domino's example is likely more of an attempt at humor than providing dumb instructions. The company wants to be trendy and cool.
