  1. I’ve been going since probably 2015 and i always remember it being there, my friends and i even quote it when we go on the ride because of how much we lap it 🤷‍♀️. maybe the speakers were enhanced and it’s just more noticeable now or something but i definitely recall it being there.
  2. Hasn’t that sound always been there? i swear i’ve heard it on every time i’ve ridden before.
  3. it no longer will let me edit but the photo is from Bikash on instagram
  4. Im very glad to see that the sanded pathways are continuing through the rest of the area. This view of Leviathan really makes me excited to ride.
  5. Emperor was originally called Mako but the name was changed because of the hate they were getting from it having the same name as Mako at SWO. Not really sure how that correlates either with a dive coaster, but just thought i’d remind y’all.
  6. i agree it could be a maintenance nightmare but the only reason i don’t believe it actually will be is because it is B&M. The seats move up and down just from similar suspensions that are found on high quality mountain bikes or quad bikes, i don’t think it would be that hard to maintain. I will say i can’t see a park in Australia buying one (even if we had B&M’s here), i just can’t think of where it would fit in properly.
  7. correct me if i’m wrong but im 90% sure it was during ride testing and the sparks set off a fire. But at the same time i wasn’t even alive when it happened, so i could be wrong.
  8. this is a bit random, what was the point?
  9. I really don’t think you know what a single rider queue is for @Ashley The queue is to fill potential openings in the train so they can dispatch full trains, thats it’s only purpose. It’s purpose isn’t to cut peoples wait times in half. The only obligation staff have is to keep the general queue moving, to check and let on backwards riders during their time slot, allow fast track guests to ride as they payed extra for no wait times, and to make sure Virtual Queue’s are being scanned before they’re time slot expires. If they have to let on say 4 fast tracks, 2 virtual queues and now 2 single riders, that fills 8 out of 20 seats, leaving 12 seats left. Single rider queue is only there for when they need to use it, it’s not an obligation to let those people who know the risks of waiting in that line on.
  10. I don’t think they’ve started day time testing yet so my guess is they’d probably still have a lot more test cycles to go, probably 3/4 more to be complete. However, that can be done fast as long as the theming is now complete (which it looks close to or complete.) For an opening timeline though i’d say; Staff Previews: - Middle of November Pass holder Preview's - End of November General Soft Opening - Early December Opening - 7th - 15th of December.
  11. The lift hill for Tnt is now in as well as the beginning of the first helix. source; mittythemeparks
  12. Here is a front on view of the rides entrance from TPSN.
  13. my night was “sold out” and the longest a line ever got to was 90mins for IT which only lasted not too long with Scooby being the longest ride wait at 60mins, GL was walk on and Rivals was 20mins. Could they be selling more tickets on the dates closer to Halloween? or were the first nights a case of trying to influence guests to buy tickets, which has clearly worked if that’s the case.
  14. my group and i kept checking the maze wait times (surprisingly accurate, or less then stated) and it’s very easy to get all done
  15. When walking past the space at fright nights i was shocked at how big the area for WoO actually is, i can’t wait till we start seeing construction progress.
  16. My guess is they wanted to get Green Lantern open fast due to crowd levels and ride closures and we’re waiting for a part to come from overseas, so to be able to open they brought in a back up to be in place until a new one can be installed. Just a guess, no idea if it actually makes sense or not
  17. I think replacing Doomsday with Surfrider would be the only way it would fit in Movie World, but then again replacing it with a coaster would make them down to one flat ride again.
  18. My guess is because of the refurb that’s why they are moving it instead of scrapping it, they must’ve realised afterwards it didn’t have a purpose at WNW anymore and should spend the rest of its life elsewhere. Besides Seaworld, where else could it move? MW it would feel very out of place, wouldn’t fit in at DW, maybe Aussieworld or a victorian park? or who knows, maybe it’ll go to another place where it makes no sense, like Paradise Country.
  19. $600 for 2 days wouldn’t go well at all, people don’t even like $100+ theme park passes here💀 I will say Disney looks cool, but i personally wouldn’t go as it isn’t my interest, and i wouldn’t pay upwards of $500 just to go. I’d much prefer a six flags / cedar fair type of park on the Gold Coast (with higher theming) or even a Universal Studios park to be built here then a Disney park.
  20. the posts have now been taken down, won’t be surprised if someone higher up found out and now people are in trouble…
  21. I mean if you look closely it does look like their is a hole at the base which lines up with the opening, so you could be right but i guess we won’t really see until it opens. Im shocked it looks like it will actually be opening this year, i’m glad the delay was actually so they could improve from Vortex’s theming… I wonder whats being done within Tridents queue building?
  22. *if you don’t want spoilers for Leviathan’s theming don’t click onto the links* a page popped up on instagram that has posted videos from Within the area as well as within Leviathan’s queue, i will say the theming within the queue is A LOT better then i was thinking it would be… Inside New Atlantis: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CjjBEMWBlzv/?igshid=NzNkNDdiOGI= Leviathan Queue: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cjlsuj_PZxO/?igshid=NzNkNDdiOGI=
  23. It would’ve been so much better if they removed Speedy’s Taxi’s and made a big expansion with 1-2 more kids rides on top of this one but I'm glad atleast something is happening. I’m also glad they didn’t touch the little hedged garden area, it is a very pretty and relaxing corner
  24. 90% of Dragster’s rollbacks are from other factors besides a mechanical fault (wind, cold mornings.) Whereas the video of Red Force is to do with a mechanical error - hence why it slows down quickly and doesn’t go high up the top hat. Accelerators with guests on board still only make it a couple metres off the ground if it was a mechanical and not weather related rollback. I’d suggest trying to get a grip on common sense concepts, rather then spitting out incorrect statements and trying to back them up with empty, negative points.
