  1. correct, hence why i put the (shown below) next to the part about work being done under the station.
  2. The yellow half of Flash’s track has been put back up overnight. track was supposedly removed to do some work underneath the rides station (pictured below.) (Jaggsjourneys)
  3. redoing SV’s facade would be a waste of money, it’s not as bad as everyone on here makes it out to be, especially with DF now there. The back half of Ocean Parade with Flowrider, Trolls Village and the old Zombie Evilution building as well as the old RHLR area is much more of a priority.
  4. hence why i called it stupid💋 slapping “worlds / southern hemisphere first” on a ride makes it more marketable to the GP (as they aren’t going to read into it) no one understands why they need to do it on every announcement.
  5. technically they’re claiming to be the first in the southern hemisphere, so if they meant coaster within another coaster technically they’re right. but it’s a stupid thing either way, just like how the Vekoma SFC was announced as the worlds first Multi-Type coaster.
  6. to me they looked like ties when i skimmed photos and saw in person but seems like bars when proper looking at it. i ain’t an engineer at all so was just sharing what i saw
  7. In the past week ties were added onto the rails of the track in some areas (pictured below), im going to guess it could be a potential structural issue with the track. (Theme Park Ogre) I zoomed in so you could see them better hence the questionable quality. The track is also definitely down today (had a look on instagram location to check it out)
  8. constantly complaining about nothing is annoying when it comes to any park. period.
  9. idk, grown adults complaining about a ramp only used to create the photo op more accessible for families is pretty annoying tbh. it looks fine, it does its job and that’s it. do we really have nothing better to do on a friday night. ANYWAYS, with the walls down im guessing the ride could atleast soft open within the next two weeks, i think most of the testing has been done outside of park hours.
  10. whenever the park does something someone on here always has to find something to complain about. the globe + what they’ve done to the entrance looks great, the ramp looks good and that’s all there is to it. let’s just be grateful our parks are receiving a LOT of investment instead of trying to find little things to complain about, it’s tiring.
  11. it might just be me, but $69-$89 for a 3hr event that’ll most likely be sold out and too busy to do anything is pretty wild. I also noticed Doomsday isn’t included in the ride line up, with it barely / not operating during Fright Night’s maybe they’ve given up trying to run it any longer then it’s current 11am-4pm operating schedule.
  12. i have a feeling that possibly they didn’t incorporate it into rivertown because they already have plans for the ride, whether that’s it’s retirement, a refurb, who knows. but i feel like if it was planned to stay, it would’ve been included into rivertown and it’s initial announcement. If the ride is retiring. i think they should replace it with a GCI woodie that goes right up against the river. even though Jungle Rush will have airtime it’ll most likely be more about the twists and turns, they need a ride that focuses mostly on airtime.
  13. it might not have been updated on here, but it was changed to 2025 around March. work also has not started on the ride or the building at all yet, i think the ride just reached the end of its life and they had to close it immediately (hence the short notice.)
  14. DCeased’s main rooms were definitely oversized, you could easily avoid the actors and the lighting was way too bright.
  15. i mean they have 5 mazes this year and they’re all good quality, i think they could pull off 5-6 good quality longer mazes. if it was up to me, DCeased would be gone for next year and one big maze would be put into that shed, with Hellship and Circurse being extended. i’d also love to see an original IP maze based on a Coven, then the main IP maze being Scream. If other parks around the world can do 6+ high quality long mazes i think they can too, they just have to want to do it.
  16. I think for next year they should reshuffle the maze locations for the new mazes. Keep the pre-existing (Hellship, Circurse and DCeased) where they are, but make one of the new ones use the entire Conjuring/Death Row shed and the other one use the WB Showcase shed, with Batman legacy likely to be swapped out soon. If they did it this way they could also most likely add a 6th maze in the second half of the DCeased show stage, as it used very little of the existing space. The main issue with the new mazes was they felt short, so this would fix that easily and add more quality to the line up.
  17. 100% agreed. there was no fear factor at all, and minimal effort was done to make the hero’s look “scary”, you know it’s bad when Green Lantern is standing on a rock in the middle of a very highly lit forest screaming in your face. it’s sad that the maze quite clearly had the biggest budget, when it could’ve been used for something like Scream or quite literally anything else.
  18. even when it’s not busy the line is in the HSD arena, as the entrance to the maze is to the side of the set instead of at the front of the stage building. i drew it up since it’s confusing to explain properly;
  19. Rides: Superman was around 45mins, DC & WWF were around 45-60mins, Doomsday not much of a wait (shocking), GL and Batwing were around 30mins most of the night. Mazes: DCeased filled up the entire stunt show arena and came out of the entrance at one point with a 90min wait (would’ve been longer for sure), Circurse had a huge wait the whole night around 75-90mins, Hellship was 20-30mins wait but was a walk on by the end, Conjuring was 30-45mins but ended up walk on at the end of the night and Death Row was around 45-60mins most of the night. (from what i remember) sidenote: WWF is real good fun at night but they were hyping it up like it was going to be a different experience, i was expecting actors in the ghost town but it was just lights.
  20. I went tonight so here is some overall thoughts on the mazes; Conjuring: some rooms seem to have been improved upon since last year, it didn’t feel as “homemade” as i remember it feeling and some good scares. (7/10) Death Row: just as great as it was last year, sad to see it go next year as it is great and new signage with barcodes along the line give deeper backstory into the storyline. (8.5/10) DCeased: the props and sets looked high budget but no. the money should’ve been spent quite literally anywhere else, no scare factor at all and honestly a waste of time, the queue as well was also extremely unorganised. (3/10) Hellship: favourite of the night, could be due to being at the front both times but who knows. the scares and sets were great (looked high budget) i loved the costume designs a lot and it was definetly the most scare focused. (9/10) Circurse: went on only once due to the line and they were trying to fit as many people as they could per group, so due to being at the back we didn’t get many of the scares. the set design and characters looked good and still jumped sometimes. (6/10) the new mazes definetly have a budget increase from the look of the sets, however i don’t think DCeased should return for a 2nd year to be honest. it looked cool but it is something they could just have open for day operation, it also only used half of the space of the soundstage so a 6th maze could’ve fit. the atmosphere was pretty good too but more actors are needed to target more guests at once. overall a fun night. i don’t remember seeing any pre shows besides the conjuring.
  21. Dreamworld’s sold out pretty fast with 2 new nights needed to be added as the rest were nearly sold out, i feel like their event is more appealing then the other two . fright nights has also supposedly sold out for tonight, wether or not that’s true we will have to wait and see.
  22. the fact they compared a ride stopping in a normal position to ensure the safety of the riders to an accident that killed 4 people is wild to me.
  23. the ride already has storage boxes, once you get off the ride you access them on the other side. they have been in for years now.
  24. it does. I think the area looks nice, it will add great energy and be a cool activity for kids to cool off in during the summer months.
