  1. In the email blast today it says to actually meet Bluey costs $20. Outrageous when they were at Westfield Coomera in Jan for free. dreamworld will upset a lot of people with that decision.
  2. I would say this is a bit of a test as before COVID Dreamworld was heavily hinting that bluey was part of the abc world refurb
  3. I know overseas they have unlimited food options, I would be all over that.
  4. As a business Padlock'd is going from strength to strength on the Gold Coast, recently expanding their hours. Movieworld normally offers something similar but it is cheaper but i would say probably not as good quality. To me it's a good addition.
  5. I just noticed White water world has changed their hours for Jan - March. They will now be open Friday/Saturday/Sunday in Feb and March.
  6. On Saturday when I was there it was operating, but no side cars, so maybe they are updating the requirements for the ride
  7. Personally i've always thought that Dreamworld should look to integrate some dining precint outside the park. If you think about Coomera it is still missing a lot of things that are down the coast and more readily accessible (Grill'd, Schnitz, Pancake Kitchen etc.. fast casual). If they could think of a way to have a dining precinct in that area it could mean that more after dark opportunities are possible. Westfield Coomera's dining area is good, but still missing a lot.
  8. Very clever move, we've ridden Sky Voyager 100s of times so to see a new perspective will be great. My kids will love it.
  9. I agree, i think we need to remember it's a bonus event while borders are shut, so VRTP might raise some extra cash which may be a good thing, i'm taking it for what it is, a bonus. My kids will enjoy getting a flashing sword basically.
  10. Moving White Water World to seasonal is a no brainer, i think the season should be extended out a little but that's a minor gripe. I wonder if the ABC expansion will be going ahead still, a Bluey themed area (as was hinted) would be a magnet for visitors and I believe the capital spend on that was going to be low. If they were smart they would wrap the roller coaster area in promotional imagery for the coaster and wrap the Big Red Car in some promotion for 'something new...' so that people can see the park is still investing.
  11. Great find, can I ask what the name of the tender website is? I am glad to hear it is proceeding
  12. From an enthusiast point of view is this a good thing? Bad thing? Village Roadshow have been affiliated with the parks for so long it's a huge change.
  13. I was there today and the water was running down the vortex. I only managed to get a photo. It looks good. Quite a few staff walking around the ride.
  14. I drove past Dreamworld today and The Claw and Giant Drop were being tested.
  15. On the Seaworld website it also says Spongebob is closed now too, some lower budget flat ride would be okay there.
  16. Thanks @Bikash Randhawa, appreciate you taking the time to respond. Right behind you and the team in the recovery. I’m hopeful more Aussies will holiday up here and show support to the Qld theme parks.
  17. While we are asking questions any thoughts on improving the kids offering in movieworld @Bikash Randhawa? Arkham is a massive area and getting some rides there themed around Teen Titans would go well.
  18. To me it looks they are continuing to work on it. It’s probably not out of the realms of possibility that they do the major groundwork now because the actual ride installation is quite quick if the groundwork is done.
  19. Spectacular idea and really well suited to Dreamworld. I still think the connection between Foxwell and dreamworld should really be activated and the “Dreamtime at Dreamworld” idea is great.
  20. When I was there for white Christmas the IT exterior had been removed.
  21. You go to “activate” the pass at the start of the day and it asks how many people you want to activate for the day. I can do this even when not in the park. Then when creating a reservation it asks how many you want to reserve for.
  22. I did a trial yesterday and you are allowed to “virtually queue” for however number of tickets you have.
  23. I think it does if you use your invoice number from the online purchase. Having said this. I have 4 onepasses and 3 virtual queue tickets from it somehow.
