Yeah noticed that yesterday, and there is a site office/demountable within the Fenced off area. Guessing for SDSC works given their is no real room within the park

They can’t remove a feature of the memberships that is part of the inclusive price without letting members know it’s happening.. if you read the FAQ section: And if you’d read the next paragraph after the one you copied and pasted... (even though it contradicts the previous..)

Surely a roller coaster can’t be released from the station when none of the restraints are locked in place.. pretty sure that would be a standard feature on any/all rides with electronic restraints

FNs is usually 10pm close. WC is always 9pm close Outdoor Rides however still close 8/8:30 on FNs usually

Ride queues at all night events have always closed at hour or so prior to close time, if the park is open until 10pm you can’t close the queue at 10pm with still 60-90mins worth of queues for rides... the people are still on rides at 11, which doesn’t fly with noise regulations at MW

To be fair I think they executed Trolls Village well. For a “temporary attraction” it’s themed, staffed, designed well and delivers on exactly what it should be. I know it’s location isn’t great, but I think it’s a fantastic addition for that demographic/market and wouldn’t be out of place becoming permanent.

Really comes down to accommodation choice. Some prefer somewhere fancy as it’s a holiday, some are happy with something basic as you’ll only be there to sleep. $5k for flights roughly. I’d work off $10-$12k spending money for admissions, food etc

Well I can’t speak for 7 billion people, but I don’t think you would be the only one, in saying that you would certainly be in a very slim minority

And Brisbane, which is the 2 largest population bases in the south east it will be fine Same here

The Ekka public holiday is on Wednesday for Brisbane, so I won’t imagine the theme parks will be any different to any other non-peak Monday. What does a flu shot have to do with the Ekka though?

That’s ridiculous. Adults can choose what they want to put in their bodies, and as parents choose for their kids. Guess they should ban beer, burgers, hot chips etc as well. If people can’t use self control and moderate their intake, or hell, if they choose to drink soft drink all day every day, that’s their perogative.

But if want a drink refill at lunch I don’t want to line up for 10-15mins behind families ordering and waiting for burgers & fries - it defeats the entire purpose of it

I kid you not. This was told to me verbatim: “like any business when it’s offpeak season you need to evaluate costs, and less drinks are bought during winter so we close the self service soft drink centres to save on costs. They will reopen later in the year”.

Well that’s how many there always is...

I wrote about this back in May. I spoke to guest services who advised this is a cost cutting measure during non-peak winter months when less drinks are needed... and they will open it again in spring/summer. (yeah, ridiculous huh)
