  1. You know you're a theme park addict when "I don't get to go there often" means you only get to visit once a week!!
  2. Great scoop by 'WeddedWonderland'... i have always loved when the text in an article completely contradicts the headline..
  3. I'm sure for the sake of the guest relations teams sanity (as they'll be being asked a million times a day) they'll announce 'something' in the very near future. Even if it's just a hint of a name and confirmation it's a coaster (for the GP who have no clue). If it is going to be themed to Flash, even fence wrapping with a lightening bolt and Xmas 2017 written on it would be enough to acknowledge the contruction and enhance the suspense, then drip feed info out
  4. So what are they building at the front end of the carpark entry that has just been cleared and has Mack crates all over it? It sure as hell isnt either of the rides you've put forward unless you have to walk down a yet to be built 100+ metre path from Green Lantern to get to the ride entrance...
  5. That ride has a footprint incredibly smaller than the area we have already seen cleared and pegged.. It's not that
  6. Make it 100m.. Haha. And put a false canopy over it so no helicopters can cheat a look
  7. And we already know what 2 of the mazes are... Of which you've mentioned none. back to your hole Troll...
  8. I'd erect a 50m high curtain around the entire area and not announce anything until a week before opening..
  9. The location of the mack crates surprised me, being literally 1m from the construction fencing and about as far from MW itself as possible. They are literally right on the pedestrian path along Entertainment Rd. As djrappa said though, most would have no idea what Mack is..
  10. Yeah that would be it I guess (hard to tell driving past in the dark)
  11. too dark to get photos, but I just drove past MW and heavy machinery has arrived on site, including equipment for drilling foundations things look to be moving fast
  12. Money is on either Flash or Cyborg themed coaster, unless they go for a villain...
  13. Wrap is going up along the construction fencing outside the park.. The stairs are getting a fresh lick of paint, meaning 2 of the 3 access points to the front gates are out of action Wrapping up inside as well... Ride express passes now sold from a kiosk outside the cinema
  14. Looks like it could hold a decent number of people. But when shit hits the fan, is if first in best dressed or so members get priority? Does it have a dedicated independent phone line? You know, just incase?
  15. Thanks for sharing Mark! sounds exciting and am looking forward to hearing more about MI3 as we move into 2017 and into construction
  16. Stay clear. Just like the muppets in park getting you to do their scratchies.. basically you'll get invited and need to attend a couple of hour long presentation on, generally, joining a holiday club or buying into a holiday rental/share agreement. You'll have no obligation to buy, but it's 2 wasted hours of your life...
  17. Haven't seen that post and find it unlikely to be utilised unless in a controlled environment (ie. UTT)
  18. 15km is a fair bit of distance mate. I wouldn't say it's a 'very real threat'. Yes there is bushland in the vicinity of the park, but I'd stay the risk of bushfire to MW (especially the area we are looking at for this new ride) would be about on the lowest end of possibility. If bushfire mitigation was going to determine the type of coaster or rides we get, I doubt VRTP would have just invested in funky wooden cabins, literally in bushland, for the PC Farmstay experience.
  19. Change its name to the Flash coaster and we're all set
  20. You never know when some feral kids may swim through the swamp and climb into the ride envelope...
  21. Dinosaurs. That'll get the crowd through the door! Who needs shade, grass and greenery when you have dinosaurs!!
  22. Why wouldn't it be? if it is not impacted by the contruction why close a revenue stream?
