  1. As much as I love & appreciate Hanna Barbera, having grown up on it, it's lost on today's children. It's just not relevant to them and 90% would not be able to name a HB character outside of Scooby & Yogi. There is so much potential in the LT brand that I'd rather they focus their time and efforts on that. Hopefully we'll see an LTRR replacement in the next 12-18 months.
  2. Probably just your choice of words mate. If you'd said 'I was having such a good time I barely even noticed the 45mins it took me to get on SE' it would have gone straight thru to the keeper without anyone commenting. I do understand what u mean about the anticipation though. I'm sweet to wait that long for a first ride of the day on SE, especially when with some mates, but ask me to do it again later in the day, and I won't be bothered as I've had my SE fix fulfilled already so 45mins feels like 2 hrs.
  3. Another intelligent pearl of wisdom from Kujotess Really? I'm all up for a discussion with someone with differing opinions - but you're not even putting up a valid argument other than 'this is what I think and everyone else is wrong'. Put some intelligence into your posts.
  4. It's definitely true the pricing yourself too low can effect your image or perceived value in the public arena. Given what we have seen in the last 12mths (GL, AA:ST) and to some in the next 12 mths (JL, Constrictor, SW water coaster) I think a price rise next year is definitely justified. From my experience in commercial management, price is not what the determining factor in buying decisions - its value. I'd argue that even at $199-$250 a ticket you get value with the VIP pass. However I would not necessarily agree that the DW world pass would offer the same value at that price point.
  5. Agree with all comments above I think $149 for one park, and $199 for all 3 is still great value and would not price people out of the market. Still offer buy 3 get 1 free for families, and bringing in payment plans. A few years back I had no dramas paying $250 per pass with monthly payments by direct debits. Cheapos who think $150/$200 per year for annual passes to 3 parks is expensve clearly have no concept of value or business practices.
  6. You's is not a word. And I doubt anyone would not buy a pass if they increased it slightly Raising the prices are common sense to me.
  7. Given the amount of positive capex spent over the 3 parks in the past 12 months & what's coming in the next 12 months - I would have NO problem if VIP passes rose in price. I think $150 minimum for 3 parks - and that's still a crazy bargain. You have to remember its $70+ for one visit to MW, as you'd complain if it costs more than $90 to get unlimited access??
  8. your survey is extremely limited in range there are no questions regarding how often people visit, no mention of WnW or WWW, in fact it is so limited im not sure why you set it up? what do you wish to gain in terms of statistical data by doing it:?
  9. Is it weird that it's only running mon/tues nights?? I seem to remember It usually being fri/sat nights?
  10. good to see they are surveying paying customers to see what they want maybe they should send a survey out to all VIP pass holders to get a bigger range for their data. Interesting choices of rides, as a few people have mentioned Tallest star flyer in the world ? would be nice for MW to have a record breaker, but not a massive fan of the ride design/concept Euroflyer - love a good coaster, if it was the right model it would be a great addition and another coaster for the park. In terms of footprint though, where would they put it?
  11. The cost of moving purpose built studios would be gynormous. You'd be likely looking at a demo and rebuild. Expand the studios?? At any given time 80% of the studios are vacant looking back over the past couple of Years
  12. I don't disagree with what you are saying Dj I just gave my opinion about sharing a raft on a water slide and was called a pedophile for it. I'm not apologising for retaliating, because if anyone said that to me face to face I'd do the same. Anyway, as I said above and was more than happy to do, let's just move on
  13. did you not read the post from Joz? Just drop it dude...
  14. No dramas with me. I usually wouldn't bite at snide comments but being called a pedophile warrants a return of serve! Anyway, move along, nothing to see here...Back on topic!
  15. Huh? So because I wouldn't give two sh*ts about jumping in a large raft with other people I don't know I'm a pedophile?? Are you dumb or just plain stupid? While we're on the topic of trying to evaluate people based on their comments - you seem like a 12 year old kid, social awkward, starved for attention and frigid. Oh, and throw a moron in with that too.
  16. thats the problem with today's society - no one willing to mingle with others outside their 'crew' or group. you dont have to hold hands, you dont have to hug each other. You're focused on the ride, not the people next to you/across from you on the raft get over it...
  17. Are you 8 and have stranger danger ? Who cares if you're sharing a tube/raft with someone?
  18. Hopefully not It's a tired & dated concept IMO and DW has enough family friendly attractions. If DW is going to invest it needs to be on something unique (and not Buzzsaw unique) and something big. I don't really expect any attractions of great significant from DW in 2013
  19. Nice to see you are the spelling police around here. Was typing on my iPhone and must have hit a wrong letter and it auto corrected. I'll go back to my normal life while you keep reading through forums looking for typos...
  20. Given the food prices these days probably about $40-$50 if there for the day with lunch etc. As we have VIP/World Passes my partner & I will generally have lunch at home and head in from 1pm-5pm which saves us on lunch. To answer your over Q-probably not. I usually visit with other people that have passes anyway. Would like to see Annual Passes include a 10% discount on food & bev
  21. I go to DW probably 4-5x a year MW 2-3 not including Fright Nights WnW maybe once a year SW only if a new attraction opens that interests me (been once in 4 yrs) WWW 4-5 times over summer
  22. Have to disagree on that point. I've never got more than mildly wet on River Rapids. You generally get soaked on WWF. At least of WWF everyone gets a least a little wet. Due to the tyre having no set rotation etc on River Rapids it's no uncommon that 2 ppl get wet And the other riders are bone dry at the end
  23. Yep just before the Zodiak on the way to HB Land. Was called Top Cats Putt Putt $2 upcharge There was no real theming at all. Just basic putt putt course
  24. 1. Superman 2. Green Lantern 3. Arkham Asylum 4. Scooby
  25. Extremely unlikely to see it prior to Summer 2014 (ie Dec 2014).
