  1. Sorry Janine but that's incorrect as far as I'm aware. Due to noise restrictions external rides are not able to operate post 9pm (may be 9:30). Ride queues close to give enough time for all guests in line to get through prior to the noise restrictions kicking in. last year Both nights I attended SE queue was closed by 8:15.
  2. Also for new visitors, good to note that the queue lines generally close well before 9pm so everyone gets through by 9
  3. It's not exactly like DW have been sitting on their hands. they have invested serious capital on new/refreshed F&B outlets across the park, the Brock Museum, new TI, Lego shop. Whilst these may not be thrill rides or coasters, they are offerings that engage and please their core market - families, and also experiences that make DW a more complete full day park.
  4. Yep - the buy 3 get 1 free are not Memberships. Just VIP magic passes
  5. Standard theme park/footy game/concert pricing
  6. I don't expect them to give away any future projects to randoms on FB anyway. Just under 2 years until the 2018 games. Plenty of time. I'm sure we'll see something of note prior to the games
  7. Great news! Hopefully open more often than the western food outlet which is never open
  8. You put me in a shipping container and close the door, I'm gonna panic. Don't even need scare actors...
  9. The TVs above loading, the chemical tubes running across the roof
  10. Be careful pushing, you wouldn't want to strain your back..
  11. Rumour in the GC Bulletin that it may be officially opened by Margot Robbie
  12. Most people call them glasses, or goggles. But yeah, we can go with head mask I guess...
  13. LR looks epic beyond words. The POV makes you feel like you're about to die haha. Bucket list.
  14. Very difficult to predict. Last year I had the 4 mazes done in 2 hours, but that was making sure I was at the park for the rope drop and in the first hero maze in the first few runs. After an hour you can be looking at over an hour wait per maze. Can't comment on rides, I rarely do them on FN as there is so much else to do & see
  15. Seems a strange explanation, though I don't doubt it's truth. There are plenty of guest accessible/common areas in the park (and other buildings anywhere for that matter) that have fire exits and/or evac routes operating through them. I'm sure Chinatown Alley also co-existed in the early years of SE
  16. Yeah, I am actually. Maybe he has some level of movement, and the back is currently open for that to be tinkered with etc.
  17. Haha.. Good pick up. You know what I meant Yeah I clearly remember Snowy River have a summer/winter setting. Maybe it's just me but I've never been in a boat on WWF hit by those geyers, even in the middle of summer.
  18. Let's agree to disagree. I also think your meant sufficient, as let's face it, if water is spraying up in the air, there is no change to efficiency whether it lands on you or misses. I think a decent splash of water from "old faithful" after the backwards drop would not take away from the final drop, for which the anticipation is as much about the drop itself than getting wet. Would also help cool you down for the meandering around the Indian grounds and western town in the 30+ degree heat..
  19. And I'm saying you should be decently soaked before that point..
