  1. Oops, yeah misread that. Dang.
  2. What did this used to be exactly? I never got to do it before it closed
  3. The prizes: The winner of the Leviathan Quest will win a two-night stay at Sea World Resort plus a VIP behind the scenes tour of the Leviathan ride, after hours, with the Sea World operations team. This is your chance to hear all about the ride’s construction, maintenance, and a whole host of interesting facts about the world’s most iconic wooden rollercoaster. It’s truly a money-can’t-buy experience. Second place will receive a Whale Watching Tour for Four People and the third-place participant will win Two Hours of Topgolf gameplay for themselves and 5 friends. For every five Experience Points collected, you will receive a Leviathan Egg that hatches into a 3D Leviathan character of varying rarity. These Leviathan characters allow you to be part of an exclusive community and the more you ride, the more Leviathan characters you can collect. You get 1 exp point per ride. Ride 5 times to get an Leviathan egg! (I guess they have excess stock haha)
  4. I could see them getting a copy pasted version of the Avengers ride coming to DCA if it does well.
  5. Probably a headache in the licensing department but something like the Great Movie Ride, themed to WB100, would have been great.
  6. Didn't expect that! I hope it's still Looney Tunes themed
  7. May be misremembering, but didn't Surfrider get some new track after it closed? Perhaps the 20 mil is also taking those costs into account
  8. Maybe they're getting a new car for it? That's the only thing I can think of that could cause a delay like that. Hopefully with lap bars!
  9. Certainty not a good look for it, especially with that queue time sign! The cycle was also a lot shorter than normal, barely over a minute. To top it off, I heard someone coming off the ride say to his friends "Doomsday Sucks!" Here's a clip of the ride in action today (moments before it broke down). This is as high as it got. dd2.mp4
  10. Doomsday is running today without the inversions! The cycle was less than a minute. It then broke down when the floor wouldn't raise under the gondolas. I think it's time has come... Wild West Falls opened this afternoon, but closed shortly after with people having to do an "in show exit" from the ride.
  11. Movie World has a flume ride called Wild West Falls. Sea World has a water roller coaster called Storm Coaster that includes a drop down with a splash. There's also a small splash battle boat ride where you either get completely soaked or stay dry, depending on how many people hit you from the other boats with the water guns. Dreamworld has none currently.
  12. Thanks for sharing! This park has been on my radar for a few years now and has really interested me. Hair Raiser has a decent chance of being my first B&M. Makes me worried hearing how rough it is... Think it could be a one day park or does it deserve two?
  13. The ToT area could be part of Jungle Rush's footprint. Take it down when Tiger Island closes.
  14. The entire wall on all sides has now been painted white. Looks much better!
  15. Some stats for the upcoming Wiggles Coaster from IAAPA Singapore (ZamperlaCoasters Instagram)
  16. The brown track makes more sense when you see this concept art! Might mean some of it will be green, too. Source:
  17. No rides have ever been open for the Night Market. The Dreamworld Flyer will be the first.
  18. How about one of these? Reminder a couple of people from Mack were at Dreamworld last year
  19. I've never been myself, but the three that come to mind are: Lotte World in Seoul. Big indoor / outdoor park and very Disney-esc. Atlantis Adventure is a fun looking and unique Intamin coaster. Everland. Main reason for going would be T Express, one of only 4 Intamin pre fab Woodies in the world, but the rest of the ride selection also looks pretty good. Gyeongju World: Another good looking park with a couple of big B&M's. There's some detailed vlogs from all 3 parks on this YT channel : https://www.youtube.com/@ThemeParkBlitz/
  20. I've only done locals One Pass, so not that experienced on the other offerings. What was the previous membership deal exactly? $9 a month for unlimited access to the parks, with an included Fight Nights ticket?
