Doomsday Destroyer - 2016 Movie World construction
Whombex replied to Hypermarket Hero's topic in Theme Park Discussion
To be honest, I'd rather many people visiting the park and sharing their construction pics than none at all. Yes, some are daily visitors, but I don't want that to discourage the less-frequent visitors taking similar pics to what may have been posted the day before. You never know, it might just be one of these "also" pics where we notice some subtle differences that provides a major clue to the ride/themeing/etc. -
If you're going to be able to answer the Q&A, Belinda, that's great. A question: Are there any longer term plans for the car park area? Could the carpark be flattened out from the height of Foxwell Rd, and another level of carpark added above, but still keeping visibility of the entrance building from Foxwell/The M1? My basis for this would be if an entertainment precinct (such as Universal Citywalk/Disney Downtown) were to go in to the north...

Awesome! Um, guessing you're going to go over your baggage allowance on the trip back home?

The two green arched bits on the ground in front of the booth - attachments for the ride? Look at all the straight white lines on the arms... -

Topgolf attraction coming to the Gold Coast

Yep, the CityWalk/Downtown is slowly coming for both MW and DW, and they should have been built years ago. Cinemas, Restaurants, & Bowling All TopGolf. -
Giant Drop's original (pre cage) queue room was awesome, best when the only people in there were the group for the next ride.

...starting to think the booth will remain Turquoise. -
Oh wow I remember that ad! I recall the fog as the doors opened, but little of the explosion effect. As both this and Eureka had a similar theme ("get out, it'll blow!"), I can't be clear on what had what.

Nineteen times? JEALOUS. I only got to ride it twice, yet it is still the best I've ridden, enough to make it my avatar! - Such a tragic incident with the Alligator. I remember being at Kennedy Space Center and seeing Gators in the waterways, roadside channels, and even in the median strip depressions, there's even some in the lake inside the Visitor's Center near the Astronaut Memorial. Sadly I'm wondering already, maybe too soon, how many lawyers are lining up at the family's front door to offer their services against Disney.

It's EURKEA a furniture and homewares store for the Wild West? -
It's very close, yes. Customising the ride colours won't be available until Alpha 3 in late July. No green camo option will be available... Terrain adjustment and painting is awesome.. For some (myself included), there was no sound working in Alpha 2. If you're affected, read this dev post on the PC forums for the easy fix.

I wonder if this is in support of the production of Thor starting next month at the studios, or part of the park? -
So Long, Alpha 1. I've enjoyed it a lot, contributed some bugs to the Devs, was mesmerized by the work of Silvarret, Kukamonda and the rest, and realised that my PC DESPERATELY needs an upgrade prior to final release. It's done me well, still plays FPS games easily, but with the game's intention of utilising 100% of the CPU for peep management, I'll need that i7 & 16gb ram as soon as I can get my hands on it. I thought I'd make a small map, with no path from the gate meaning no peeps in the park. Still didn't help. Alpha 2 with its' new paths, stairs & ramps, terrain editing, 13 coaster types and overhauled coaster creation, new pieces of buildings and scenery, with 360degree rotation, is gonna be awesome. Oh, and Gulpee Rex!

What he said. Space Mountain 2 is a proper length train coaster (6x4 rider cars in the train), Space Mountain is more trains but less riders (2x6 rider cars).

Only ride breakdown I've ever experienced was on the Buzz Lightyear Lazer Blast at Disneyland Paris in July 2013. It was stationery for about 4 minutes (guessing a software reboot). After we got back to the station, they let us "stay on" if we wanted, and go around again. We did, others got off.

NO MORE ROCKS AS MOUNTAINS!! No more cannons hidden in chimneys! MUCH better scenery placement, just hope that control system extends to building pieces... Also a forum chat regarding the amazing audio in the game.

Still trying to figure it out - the climax is a water geyser effect to lift the boat?
