  1. To be fair, if it was a new Post Mix Refill machine I have no doubt Bikash would announce it as "world class" and "like nothing you've ever seen before, start of the art stuff"
  2. Please if the post contains 20 photos... don’t quote them
  3. I just really think the glaring thing is THE SAME PEOPLE ARE STILL IN CHARGE OF THE PARK! Attitudes don't just change, so you know they will be doing the bare minimum they have to in regards to any improvements. I don't care if they built a 300 foot giga coaster tomorrow, there is still no way I would set foot on any moving piece of machinery in that place.
  4. Omg someone makes a cartoon and a bunch of people feel the need to run to the aid of an apparetly hard done by and poor defenseless Adventure World and need to shut them down. Why cant people just enjoy something for what it is without haveinb to carry on like this. Quick fact, the parks don’t our assistance or defense to operate.
  5. As usual my stance is... don’t like it? Don’t buy it! Simple as that. No need to piss and moan and say they are wrong. The product just isn’t right for you so move along to the next one that is.
  6. Well I can understand why they didn’t. But I also do see a very good reason to spread them out.
  7. This place had no hope written all over it. I had some early talks with them and it was clear they were grossly under funded and it was gonna be ghetto as.
  8. By contrast I'm pretty sure that Movie World's previous General Manager Greg was signed off to operate every ride at the park... if A GM isn't more of an Administrative role than Head of Engineering then I don't know what is... I guarantee Movie World's Head of Engineering knows a hell of a lot about how their rides operate.
  9. There’s actually a Sally ride (Tutankhamun) that unlocks a hidden ride path depending on score so it is completely doable and a very cool idea.
  10. Did you read what I posted? maybe try reading it again
  11. You only have to look at Shanghai Pirates to see what’s next... the use of various technical effect mediums to enhance a physical ride experience. Universal are pushing the limits of technology and honestly the results suck! There is nothing immersive about being parked in front of a projection with 3D glasses no matter how clever. An amazing automated, animatronic experience in a practical set will always be far superior to any techno gadgetry. The technological development is in the delivery of audiences through that environment and the realism and reliability of those ‘sets’ IMO
  12. Shame the tree went. The landscaping of the park used to be beautiful back in the day and you could tell it had a lot of care. Be nice if they could stretch the budget to bring in a new mature tree to replace.
  13. May seem a small deal but if this is the actual ride. I willbw pissed if they don’t at least get a different colored canopy. For Sea World the generic rainbow look is just wrong and makes it look more cheap. Should be some different shades of blue or something. Small detail but would greatly improve the aesthetic.
  14. Clothing brands are not the only new thing at Outback Spectacular https://outbackspectacular.com.au/the-experience/show
  15. Yeah cause buying a carni ride to see how it goes first is totally the practice of the top theme parks around the world
  16. Ummm well I have to say that’s Fkn disgraceful if this park is chucking in a portable carny ride. Is it bloody Luna Park? Thats embarrassing!!
  17. I’m gonna beg to differ on this one. Ringers is a marketing face selling poor quality cheap ass China made wears at large markup. RM despite is foreign ownership and diversification remains the iconic high quality Australian brand it always has been. The two don’t even compare IMO.
  18. That ‘waterfall’ just looks awful. And I mean the disused Buggy attraction is so obvious, this is not an acceptable standard.
  19. It’s not like they’ve had decades of experience with people movement through a theme park or anything
  20. Seriously. Like is that park so Shit they can’t maintain a piece of metal that slowly rotates?
  21. The band closes out the night I believe.
  22. What? Like do they learn, at all, ever? Either about best practice or perception?? I don’t know about you but if wipeout is unable to operate at capacity that means there is something wrong with it. Why is a ride with something wrong with it open at all? I certainly wouldn’t be riding it!
  23. Yesterday I would say was the most damning day yet. 1) rides should never rely on the operator for safety and 100% it is engineering’s job to ensure there are contingencies in place to ensure operator error doesn’t compromise safety! 2) just so everyone is aware, $10k is a TINY TINY amount for a controls upgrade. I’m dumbfounded how they couldn’t approve that on the spot. Basically this is saying that a life to Dreamworld wasn’t even worth $2500 a piece because that’s all it would have taken to prevent this. 3) the second that this ride was identified to have inadequate safety systems it should have been shut down until they were brought up to scratch. No excuses whatsoever. 4) Scott is a dispicable human being IMO.
