  1. I don't think anyone is really being negative, I'm certainly not. I'm just saying that for me it's more of a nicely presented area than a themed one. Personally apart from individual rides I don't see a reason for Sea World to be themed anyhow.
  2. To be clear Disney does RUN all those international parks. They are OWNED by other people such as The Oriental Land Company in the case of Tokyo.
  3. Absolutely fits the area. But I don't feel any part of Sea World apart from Storm is themed in any way or to anything. It's all just designed to be asthetically pleasing.
  4. Sorry no Reanimated I was more referring to the feel of the area than the actual shop fronts. Whilst I think The Plaza shops look very nice. I wouldn't call them themed. If so what is the theme? To me they look more styled, like you would see with high end shopping. Go look through the high end fashion area of Pac Fair and you will see what I mean. Each store front has a unique look to it.
  5. If we're gonna go there I'd say pacific fair now has a similar feel to this new area. Both look nice IMO, but I understand what Joz is saying.
  6. Mine checked out ages ago. Right about when someone said "I heard from a park employee"
  7. There is no way it will be 8 minutes! Thats ridiculous
  8. If a truck rammed a doorway it wouldn't be a nice clean straight edge where it hit. Thats clutching a straws to give a mistake a reason.
  9. Pretty much. The equipment used in ride control is pretty much all based off industrial control gear you'd usually find running factories.
  10. What I think we all need to remember (and I think Shockingly AlexB might even agree with me on this) is that these forums/Theme Park Enthusiasm in general should be above all fun. If we can't all have a bit of a laugh and sarcasm about such things, like a joke about getting the same photos, then there is something seriously wrong. Try to remember, having the latest, best, first, more revealing, etc, etc is all well and good, but do try to have fun at the same time, otherwise what are we here for?
  11. Yeah that's my take on it. If you know something and want to keep it quiet so other people can share in the excitement of say the tour then that's great. But at the same time I don't like one person harassing another because they decided to share. I think there is also a tendency in some cases for some people to play the "I know something but I don't want to break trust" card when in reality it's more a case of them wanting to possibly seem a bit more special than they actually are, and that I don't like. I really dislike the 'brag factor' I'd guess you'd call it. For me really it sits as, if the information is obtained under commercial confidence or an NDA then of course it should be kept confidential, you'd be insane to risk your job/company/etc on doing otherwise. However if not, through rumor, friends, tours, etc it's kind of fair game and up to the individual what they do with any info they have.
  12. I'd say also could be to do with the fact that the tour starts very early in the morning and staff may be working late into the night for Fright Night's before so possibly isn't feasible over the same period. And also, trust me, if something is told to the public, it's 100% expected that it will get out.
  13. Great, that would be awesome, my favorite thing is photos of things that I already have, especially when nothing has changed in them.
  14. Yeah, enjoy yourself on the tour, have fun and learn heaps/get out of it whatever your after. But most of all, don't be a dick about it and come back on the forums telling everyone how you know all this info but can't say anything and then try and abuse other members for talking about something they saw on a PUBLIC tour.
  15. Any chance someone could go get some photos of the fencing wraps and stairs being painted?
  16. No really. Looks like a standard packing strap so you know that is 1-2cm wide. Scale the rest from that.
  17. I would think logically the theme park would take over the existing car park and parking would be in a new multi level structure that is shared with the casino development. That would make the most sense.
  18. I'm sure there is as much chance of the monorail not fitting as there is there being CO2 effects on Doomsday.
  19. If it were me I'd wait until after their latest addition opens and gets some traction before announcing another future attraction.
  20. This is EXACTLY what Magic Mountain needs.
  21. Gotta remember. Most all of that stuff would mean nothing to anyone except a few on this site. Just looks like any other construction project to someone who isn't an enthusiast.
  22. Launch? Shuttle? Biggest loop? Stuff all that. No easy gimmicks, I'm hoping for just a kick ass coaster that doesn't need any gimmicks to sell itself.
  23. Another day, another stupid suggesting that this area could support a Disney park.
