What is the safety issue with opening the gates as soon as the train has arrived in the station, instead of waiting for everyone to get off, get their stuff and exit? Other parks, including down the road, don't seem to have the same issue.

Vortex has the water fountain package right? they just don't use it

With two trains, one train is ran backwards, and one is ran forwards. By already having the trains in these directions it only needs 2 turns on the turntable, whereas one train requires 3 to change direction as a forwards cycle departs the station backwards and returns forwards for the next backwards cycle. When the park is running one train, it completes the innerloop twice and outside loop once, whereas two trains complete the innerloop once and outside loop once.

That's the only way the forwards and backwards cycles can work, the extra entry into the turntable allows for change of direction.

Rivertown was reportedly 55 million... and they got a lot of bang for their buck. -
Sea World Carnivale 2025 dates have been released, running from the February 1st to March 1st 2025. https://seaworldcarnivale.com.au/ Seems to be a lot of the same as previous years however, Trident isn't mentioned on the Rides & Exhibits page.

It exists on all of the 453m SFC model. I thought I was the only one who noticed that, it's definitely weird. This is yet another oversight by the design teams. You can’t have a grouper blindly assigning rows without giving them the ability to view a camera feed of the queue lines, this doesn't happen on FotWW as the grouper has direct view of the queues. Giving the benefit of the doubt here... maybe the grouper couldn’t see up to the crossover point. Opening day the lady that was doing grouping did an excellent job of keeping both sides no more than a one cycle wait and trying to get us (and herself) out of the sun. That said, if you get a good grouper, you’re usually able to request which side you’d prefer, it worked on opening day. Fun fact, all the ride operator booths have air conditioning, even the 'open air' ones so cool air can fill the barn! VRTP clearly cares about our barn experience, so thoughtful of them. On another note how do we think Kansas Twister will operate off peak, requires 7 staff to run 2 forward ops/restraint checkers, 2 rear ops, 2 groupers/restraint checkers and outside grouper. I can't see VRTP putting that many people on one ride that realistically won't have a queue over 10 min due to its exceptional capacity. -
Jungle Rush opened today around 3pm. It had a brief downtime of about 10 minutes and had a 30-minute queue it had a few other moments of downtime and was cycling empty. The atmosphere was great, and the ride seems to have received a pretty strong, positive reception!

Does anyone know what’s going on with the Giant Drop at the moment? Only the side facing the M1 is operating, while the side facing Coomera/GC Train Line doesn’t have any cables, gondola, or catchcar assembly attached to the tower. Also, at the bottom left of the picture, there seems to be some sort of cylinder, any ideas what that could be?

I was there on Wednesday and we weren't allowed to do up our seatbelts the whole day. Most restraints already have the fail-safe built in. However, if I recall correctly, only two accelerator coasters don’t have seatbelts, and both of them use a completely different train design (T-bars). Maybe it’s a case of the current restraint system, which was designed and developed in the early 2000s, requiring seatbelts? Not sure, just a thought.
-
The seatbelts on SE are completely unnecessary, they can be undone at any point in the ride. Essentially a piece of mind feature. If they're not needed on a ride don't have it. It slows down ops. FSF was delayed due to the secondary restraint locking system (the seatbelt) it's a clever, completely custom design that doesn't allow for the seatbelt to be undone during the ride.

Staff now shout, "Do not touch your seatbelt," when loading on Superman Escape. They now buckle the seatbelt for you.

If you've got it setup using the VR Fast Photo website, all you need to do is click on Add in the navbar > Can't Find Photo Card > click on click here > and fill out the form. Hope this helps.

They tried this at Universal Studios Japan from 2006 to 2011. "This mini-land, inspired by L. Frank Baum’s hit children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, invited guests to experience the magical and iconic fantasy world. Including areas themed to Munchkin Town and the Emerald City..." Sounds familiar? Seemed like it had some decent entertainment with the land too, a Wicked stage show.
