  1. When you describe it like that it sounds boring.
  2. Is there any proof to back that up? or just a wish?
  3. I remember but never went on any of them. Now that you brought it up, i kind of miss them because some of them were better than what ended up at Luna Park.
  4. It's a great loss to the studio and theme park community, and yes the fire destroyed courthouse square. (no more ghost whisperer)
  5. Its still old news either way, because it is the same stuff from 3 months ago.
  6. This is old news as posted in the thread "Yet another Disney site".
  7. It's not Movieworld, it's Disney Studios.
  8. There are so many show opportunities the park has missed by keeping PASS for so long, now it's too late because the popularity of those possible shows has passed.
  9. It's about time PASS is gone, i enjoyed the live show the first couple of times i saw it back in '92-'93 and there hasn't been a PA movie in 14 years (1994).
  10. I hope this new show puts an emphasis on stunts, not comedy. It's a new show with new story (if any), i'm not saying to drop the comedy aspect just don't rely on it as much.
  11. We know that $220 million won't get us anything close to an American-style theme park. Looking closely at the rendering, i counted 3 coasters. (In comparison, Taronga Zoo just spent $54 million to open its latest attraction)
  12. Do you mean like Movieworld, copying Universal Studios Shrek attraction.
  13. I think if OST were to ever re-open, they should do something like "Blood on the Southern Cross". If you don't know it look at this: http://video.vividas.com/media/4031_SovHill/web/BOSC/
  14. Maybe they could use it for an Australian version of "Kid Nation", set in colonial period instead of western/gold-rush township.
  15. If they can do a new studio tour, maybe they could use the PA facades as permanent street-sets since the new show won't require them. (If they don't get destroyed)
  16. I agree, it would be great if they brought back the studio tour. But it would only work if they copied the Universal Studios tour (with show/ride elements and permanent outdoor sets).
  17. Follow these links: http://www.aartdesigns.com/clients_and_pro...ject_roster.htm http://www.sandersongroup.com.au/projects/...ience/index.htm then scroll down to read the info.
  18. I remember reading an article before his (Steve Irwin) death, about an expansion/new park he wanted to build with rides. From memory he wanted it near Brisbane airport.
  19. If you read the post above mine, you will find i was not the one to resurrect this thread. I only added my opinion, which is supposed to be what forums are for.
  20. Get rid of that stupid tent, and put more rides in!!!
  21. I'm all for it (wherever it goes) but, the article mentions that the locals must have a say on the sites development. This will never go ahead if the locals oppose it, and i'm sure they don't want it near them.
  22. I went to Movieworld last thursday. When i was on lethal, i thought it was faster then the last time i rode about 5 years ago. But it is still as rough as guts, as i say about 5-6 years ago.
  23. They should demolish the whole site and use it for something better, Big bludger as it's also known as sucks!! At least they got rid of Gretel (she's as bland as weet-bix).
  24. Why would they propose to have Pandas @ Seaworld, they have nothing to do with aquatic life? Same with animals for Movieworld, how can they relate them to the parks?
