  1. I don't think it would be hard at all. Loading station, tunnels with earthquake bits... cars coming through roof, particle effects/waterpits for gushing water etc... then the launch section, build the track and colour the train yellow, the track red and supports blue. Put in the buildings the coaster goes through, brick up the entrances accordingly for the headchopper effect, etc etc. Not to mention put in the custom scenery lockers at the start, which I have, make up the textures for the subway station and put a Custom Stall in at the end. WnW_Rocks, let's get on this hey? What's your MSN?
  2. Thanks Alex for the tips. I didn't have the chance to go to the park beforehand but have done Movieworld recently & was at Wet N Wild last weekend [18th] so that kind of helps. It was advertised in the Weekend Bulletin last weekend (or maybe it was the weekend before). Still is BTC Employment at Beenleigh which is where the group interview is.
  3. Sounds interesting. And I've never ridden the Corkscrew.
  4. This week I've got a group interview for a position at Dreamworld. While there is a variety of other positions such as lifeguard etc (though not retail sales, they have been filled), I'm going for a Ride Attendant one so that I can enjoy the terrified expression on some people's faces Anyway, just wondering if anyone had any tips for me. I was told they don't require any previous experience in such a position. But yeah, any tips would be appreciated. Thanks
  5. I saw the Megastructures one, that was fantastic. Did anyone tape it? Missed BEYOND TOMORROW, does that show get replayed? I wish I saw that segment.
  6. Awesome thanks. I'll do just that.
  7. Yeah, they didn't mention Superman Escape and King Kong is no longer at Universal Studios Hollywood because of the Revenge of the Mummy ride replacing it - and apparently, you can see King Kong during the ride, tucked away in the darkness. That was definitely a repeat that segment because I remember Jennifer Hawkins getting picked up by the Blues Brothers at the end. I would had a segment on Orlando Universal and Islands of Adventure instead. Overall it was quite lame. What was better last night was on Discovery Channel on Foxtel - Megastructures episode about Kingda Ka's construction, down to the track, hydraulics etc...and all the problems they encountered. VERY VERY interesting.
  8. What directory do I need to stick it in?
  9. I've been thinking about doing this for awhile and reckon I'll go ahead with it... so that would be very handy if you did that.
  10. Can't make it Saturday except to say hi at start of day briefly and then if you come over to Wet N Wild (are you going to?), could say hi then. Anyone want to head out on Sunday?
  11. Again ... Damn. Damn. Damn. Would changing the date to say the 19th make the numbers better? Not wanting to rock the boat and I'm not asking merely for my sake but maybe that's a possibility? The more the merrier?
  12. Yep, I was very disappointed. Not a patch on IAK. Quite quite lame
  13. Yeah I think they'd definitely be using the old Thunderbolt area otherwise why would they bother with an area that small... where did you hear that T-bone? Is it possible there's another chunk of land that isn't fenced off yet? Seems unusual they would work with a small area.
  14. March 18 ? MARCH 18?!? Arghhhhhh, I forgot about this totally. I will be next door at Wet 'N' Wild on another meet. But I'll say hello if you went there at the end of the day... just organise to meet you all at a certain time... and could also say hi at the start of the day when you're waiting out the front of WNW. but yeah. What a shame. Oh well.
  15. I'm looking to do a big one with tutorials, downloadable rides/scenery etc, anyone up for it? I have 25GB web space and 330GB bandwidth per month with a reliable UK hosting company who I have been been with for about 5 years so I can vouch for them.
  16. I'm looking to do a big one, anyone up for it?
  17. Could anyone with this please PM me with a link? http://www.filelodge.com/refer.php?referrer=toneiiblue
  18. I know I'm shiny-new but count me in. Bought a Movieworld annual pass a few weeks ago so I'm due to go again.
  19. I like that new map. Much more stylish! ...
  20. I wonder if it's like that old show IT'S A KNOCKOUT that was on years ago... was a big fan of that as a kid!
  21. I think it'll be brilliant and create a strong lasting competition between DWWW & Wet 'N' Wild. WNW won't want to be beaten at their own game. I'd definitely buy a 2-park annual pass as I think that would be extremely good value. To be able to go between parks all day would be easy as they'll have the proximity of California Adventures <-> Disneyland & Universal <-> Islands of Adventure. Ideally there would be some kind of interior link so you don't have to go out of one park exit to get to the other ... like a monorail or chairlift or something that you show your ticket (whether it's a 2-park day pass or a 2-park annual or whatever) and can then get on.
