  1. I guess it would be a way to save face, after saying he would never return and how all posts are uninteresting etc etc... not that I'm suggesting he would do that But if he did, who cares anyway.
  2. That's pretty funny. I'd say way more people make use of that train line than Luna Park. It doesn't just stop at North Sydney, it continues to northern suburbs...
  3. Galbraith types alot like Daniel used to.... =)
  4. There's a way you can make coasters go underground using some kind of cheat/hack - it's posted on the official RCT3 forums. (in case you wanted to do that with eureka).
  5. As far as I know there was ever only one (correct me if I'm wrong) that has since been dismantled...
  6. Nice update, thanks I lived in DC for a while when I was younger so it brings back some memories.

    Paper Mario

Yeah the new one on Cube is the sequel to the N64 version. It was a pretty cool game, weird, but very cool. You can check out a review here: http://ign64.ign.com/articles/150/150453p1.html

    Paper Mario

Yeah it's looking to be a great game, one that I'll definitely check out. It's more of an RPG than oldskool platformer... have you played Paper Mario on N64?
  9. Ummm...what? Have you been to Disneyland, or the Magic Kingdom at DisneyWorld? They have a huge amount of rides.
  10. Ok, I've been playing the full game the past day or so - talk about buggy! I'm thoroughly unimpressed with it - peeps don't go on rides no matter what you do, they don't eat or drink even when they say they're hungry/thirsty and there's plenty of shops, park advertising does nothing at all. I could go on, but as it stands there needs a lot of work done on the game as a whole. Hopefully they'll adress these issues with a patch, but for now, it just seems like an unfinished, rushed released.
  11. But Disney parks are my favourites!! Everything pales in comparison. I don't actually have a favourite behind Disney, I am yet to visit a non-Disney park OS that I really like.
  12. Yeah what was going on with the camera that made some of the pics so distorted? Or was that a post-production job?
  13. It's back & forth headbanging, not side to side. (ie your head bounces against the headrest). The seat revolutions are the major cause of this I think - they're really not smooth at all.
  14. SFMM is a pretty run-down park but I wouldn't say stay away from it altogether, just go there for the coasters. I would definitely go on X just to experience it (and to add it to your coaster count). There isn't always massive queues for it, when I was there I waited 40mins, but I've also heard of walk-ons or 10min waits etc. I think it really depends what day or time of year you go. As for the butterfly restraints or whatever they call them, I find them more comfortable than regular OTSR's. I dont think regular restraints would work anyway.... For me its not the restraints that are painful, it's the massive headbanging. Despite its many negatives I still always enjoy myself at SFMM, and I would definitely recommend going if you've never been before.
  15. I rode it a couple months ago. I think it's a coaster you need to ride a few times to get the full effect, it's just so disorienting. It's also a very extreme coaster (yeah it loves up to its name). I wasn't overly impressed with it to tell the truth, it was fun and completely different to any other coaster experience, but it was very rough. My head was slammed back and forth against the headrest the entire ride, and I came off with a headache. I was in the back row so perhaps this attributed to its roughness. Take away the rough factor and I would've enjoyed it alot more. Its a coaster you really should try to get on some day, nothing else out there comes close to producing such intensity.
  16. Great update, thanks for sharing it with us. I'm heading to Japan next year so it has definitely raised my excitement levels. I'll be sure to check out the planning guide as well.
  17. Great TR's, they really made me miss Anaheim (it's only been 2 months and I am already pining for Disney so badly hehe). I can't believe you drove straight up to SFMM on the day you flew in, that's a huge effort! I can barely function after a flight let alone negotiate LA traffic. Sounds like you hit a pretty bad day at SFMM which is sucky, altho please tell me you're joking about 2 trains on DJV?! Disney sounds excellent as expected, altho it is a little disappointing with all the construction going on at the moment. But hey at least you get to see the top spire of the castle, it was completely wrapped up when I was there . My favourite time at Disneyland is at night, the atmosphere & lighting make it so much better, and the rides take on a whole different experience. It's too bad the Matterhorn is closed at the moment for you because I found it to be so much fun at night. Anyway great TR's, please keep them coming, they help me daydream and wish I was over there again. (only 6 months until Tokyo Disney hooray!)
  18. This was hardcore rain that forced the park to close tho...
  19. They look like complimentary return tickets, not bought ones... A few years back it rained when I went to MM so they gave us comp tickets to come back another day.
  20. If I was up that way I would... =)
  21. I've ridden one as well, I didn't think it was that amazing... =)
  22. Trust me, you do not want that. Unless your idea of a good coaster involves alot of downtime, trains that valley, and a fairly rough ride experience.
