I don't bowl at AMF centers (even though there isn't one close to me) due to the pricing. Can get 3 games cheaper at my local than what it costs for 2 games at an AMF center. Interesting how the discounts change through the various companies under the Mac Leisure banner. Unlike with Woolworths Limited where all employees get a discount card that gets 5% off at almost all the companies stores/brands.

Most of the layout isn't really too bad, I find if anything the twists are where the most discomfort comes from. After the chain lift? So even the brakes and station are as bad for head/ear bashing?

He said the fire had been contained to a single structure, the King Kong exhibit and predicted the blaze would be "knocked down" within hours. A building housing a video vault had been severely damaged and the vault itself was "compromised." A Universal spokeswoman said about 40,000 to 50,000 videos had been damaged but the studios either had copies of those films or could easily copy them. The contents of a second vault holding master copies of older and classic movies were salvaged. "Nothing irreplaceable was lost," said Ron Meyer, Universal Studios' president and chief operating officer. The studio said the full monetary damage had not yet been fully assessed. Garrido said the studio's theme park and popular City Walk shopping center would be open, but tours to the studio back lot, where the fire occurred, had been canceled. The fire was not expected to affect Sunday's taping of the popular MTV Movie Awards at the Gibson Ampitheatre, which was not affected by the fire. The problem that I have with it (and possibly most people who dislike it) is that it takes over a lot of timeslots on the show and as a result cause people to either have to stay up to stupid times in the morning (what happens with Late Show with Letterman) or completely miss a show that would have been on earlier if it wasn't for it. Last time I checked biggest loser doesn't have 7pm almost every night, at least two nights a week a 7:30pm until ??? show, then a few hours late at night. Plus revenue raising voting crap before most shows on Channel 10. As for getting Austar. Not everyone can afford Austar or wants it. I get enough advertising for products I don't buy without having to pay to watch advertisements on Austar. Plus getting it for 3 or so months just to avoid a show is stupid. Hopefully by the next series I will be able to get 10HD and they put something decent on in the BB timeslots. For those who say change the channel, I do, just I hate getting bombarded voting crap before and/or during other shows still fortunate enough to be shown during when BB is running. Edit - Totally agree with Richard, this is a theme park forum so expect to run into people who dislike the show. I hear the BB forums are somewhat more fan friendlier

The park is now yours to do with as you please. Have gone for something different from a standard uploaded park or a group park by uploading a basic layout for you to craft and build how you want. I am interested in seeing what other people do with the land. Looking forward to seeing what you eventually do with the park and how you change it. I have been busy over the past few days working on a new park. It will be released shortly as a workbench for you to base a park on. It currently is mostly front of park (carpark, etc.) but does have a few buildings inside with toilets, food, drink and a coaster. There will be large "marked" areas which are based around a plan I have (waterpark/wildlife park). Below are a few progress shots. It is a great movie, have hired it on DVD a few times (on my to get list). You would be right with it being around 5 minutes into the film. Has been a few years since last seeing it but found it a good movie. There is a sequel to it but I am yet to see it as I don't know if it will be as good as the first. The one that is on tonight is actually a remake. I have not seen the original but I doubt today it would be as scary/thrilling as the new version.

One problem I am also noticing is that whilst graphics in a game are improving it seems the gameplay is somewhat decreasing. It is all good and fine to have a game that looks amazing but if it is boring to play what is the point. Wii Sports goes to show you don't need 1080p High Definition graphics for the game to be fun and enjoyable to play. There are some games that look as good as they play but most of the games are either looking good and average to play or look good but focus too much on multiplayer, Halo 3 is a fine example of looking good but geared too much towards multiplayer. I spend as much time playing the arcade games on the 360 as I do the new games. Games like Sonic 1 or 2 mightn't look great today but they are still fun to play and a offer a challenge that can take as long (if not longer) than a game like Halo 3 to complete single player.

Steel as I cannot see Dreamworld/MLT being able to maintain a wood coaster properly over a prolonged period of time.

Mine does, takes longer than my 360 to download things and the XBL service is not known for its speed.

I think there are some titles like Shrek 3 and Transformers that won't be appearing on Blu-ray. I think there are some Buena Vista released titles on HD DVD that can be obtained form the UK, but all Paramount titles are HD DVD exclusive. Having watched Transformers on DVD and HD DVD you can really tell the difference even on my 22" LCD. At least with HD DVD there is the option of importing movies into the country for playback unlike Blu-ray and it's region locking on movies. As for a winner, it is way too early to tell for both consoles and HD media. Although due to its wide appeal the Wii seems to be the winner for consoles with 360 second and Blu-ray play... I mean PS3 third. This time next year there should be a much better idea with the PS3 as hopefully they have released some exclusive games worth purchasing for it.
