Everyone is excited to have guests in the park, especially the dingos. Not on the showtimes, but there is also a tap/parkour kinda show, will post images/video from that later.

I hear (churro vender at the front of the park) Dec 26 assuming VRCoaater gets the update to them by then (no idea how long that takes especially in this season). It's true, have confirmed it with multiple internal sources. Also makes sense considering the timeline. If it was a software incompatibility (unlikely) they could have rolled back the update or even purchased new handsets. This suggests an WHS issue with the headsets/operation themselves given it stopped abrubtly without apparent reason.

I highly doubt what Luke was told on the phone is accurate, did you speak to someone in the contact centre or Guest Services? It is getting a software update with some changes/enhancements. It is not being scrapped. Alex B may be on the money there.. Given how long this "update" is taking though I have to assume they are delivering the update using 2G to each handset individually.

I knew of Lego margins being 25-30% generally, didn't consider the store is a partnership and possibly the revenue sharing as AlexB mentioned.

Worth noting "Excludes lego store" has been added under the retail discount on the passholders page. Assuming they sell at RRP a little disappointing, surely their is more than 10-15% in their margins.

I heard (and this could be bollocks, but I heard it from an employee higher than a ride op) that "Hapiness" was due for retirement after summer and with the incident/prolonged closure they decided they would accelerate the timeline. Think of all the retail stock/merchandise that had TRR that has had to be refreshed, makes sense for them to go a little sooner.

I have a feeling it wasn't really ready to be published in the first place, with screamworld crowddj text and "Tiger Island Copy" "ABC World Intro" ect. .

^ They have already said kids/Dreamworks will be open. It is also 10 days away, who knows they may operate limited thrill rides. Very smart to give existing passholders an extra 6 months. Will be interesting to see the ticket options when they reopen. I wonder what they will be offering members

$25 is very generous donation for passholders. Especially considering you can potentially go both days. Most would be on a season Pass costing roughly $100 (but sold for as low as $80. Also worth noting.
