  1. They have alcoholic versions too, only sold in Club Blood for $20 IIRC
  2. I had a season pass for the previous two years and despite being outside the target market (20, M) I enjoyed it immensely. It is a great family event and great time to ride the coasters at night with a minimal wait! If season pass upgrades from Gold I will certainly be doing that, although I don't hold my breath considering it was not offered for FN this year.
  3. To clarify yes, that statement/article was provided to me direct from Dreamworld. joz is also correct in that Sea World stated environmental impactin regards to Bermuda losing it's fire.
  4. So yeah guys, not cost cutting it was done to help the environment!
  5. As joz said 133FUN is your friend but I am fairly sure you cannot purchase a VIP ticket for use by someone that does not own a pass.
  6. Interview with CEO of Sudden Impact (Creator of Zombie Evilution) Last chance now to catch the attraction before it reopens as a laser skirmish too
  7. Stupid move from Dreamworld to remove all posts regarding the steam train. "Belinda" said this to me in regards to removing posts
  8. 6PM-10:30 Having previewed Evil Dead, Walking Dead and speaking to staff... YES! Worth it Very faithful to the film and "über gory" Fright Night 2013 Media Preview - A few pictures from inside Walking Dead and Evil Dead
  9. No new information here, but the media alert came in... Expect to see some coverage on FB pages/traditional media outlets tomorrow.
  10. I have heard a few on SeaFM yesterday, the "SeaFM Dark Room" to win tickets to FN.
  11. Hey! Dont bring me into this Per person, the site tells you the info when you select the date.
  12. The funniest thing about that ad (from the Press Release)
  13. http://www.dreamworld.com.au/Attractions/Evilution/Attraction.aspx
  14. Not as gory as Saw or Walking Dead in my opinion. Officially they recommend you are at least 10yrs of age, those 5yrs and under are not permitted. The zombies are in make-up/look authentic in the dark. Some points not yet mentioned. [*]Existing infrastructure for AVPX has been built upon and adapted. Those who previously visited AVPX should be very impressed with how they used the existing space. [*]Entry and Exit is through the existing side door currently. The exit will change (presumably prior to official opening). The AVPX briefing bays are not currently publicly used. [*]It has been made to be adaptable and easily changed. Expect this to be "Stage 1" of Kevil Hill. [*]Briefing video shown during pass holder previews was a place holder, professionally filmed video to be in place soon.
  15. Ride Op's are generally not a reliable source unless you know them personally. I know a few that like to spin tales to guests they find annoying... For example a certain Parkz member was under the impression VRTP was considering purchasing a Boomerang this year If you are quoting a ride or retail employee as a source it is probably best to state so up front. That said it would not surprise me if Hillbilly Slasher does return. Also expect to see details of Fast Track for FN Soon... $39.99 and $29.99 for VIP is tentative/likely pricing
  16. ^ Based on my experience the majority of Dreamworld staff would not follow RSA
  17. Personally I think you should experience it before passing judgement. Whilst it would be nowhere near the cost of a new ride. It has been done with a great creative vision and it has not been done on the cheap. "Dazza" is correct, there are still many finishing touches/details to be added before the official launch. Incorrect, Sudden Impact is responsible for the construction and all the creative work related to the attraction. The scare actors are employed by Dreamworld (although they have been trained by Sudden Impact's "Scare School") It is fairly straight forward, in a few instances some of the Kevil Hill residents may have to point you in the right direction The characters and backstory are now all on the official site.
  18. It has not been announced as far as I am aware but Walking Dead is certainly returning and an Evil Dead maze is likely considering an Evil Dead poster was in the background of the FN site for awhile
  19. Dreamworld have alcoholic beverages at Central Cafe and Bite Me cafe. Movie World have in Rick's and the Dirty Harry Bar. On a side note I rarely drink at the parks but DW have never asked for proof of age when I have..
  20. May not be of interest to anyone but I heard it through the grapevine 2day FM are a launch partner and ongoing partner for the park.
  21. I agree with everything said here (and I took the shots of the new train). It would be a great shame to lose the trains entirely and my biggest fear is they will be left to rot. I would like to see Diesel on weekdays and the Steam Train on weekends but that does not seem likely considering I heard "replacement" and the general cost cutting decisions of "Dreamworld Happiness".
  22. I think you guys are worrying over nothing, Sudden Impact have long proven they produce quality attractions. I will give my feedback after I have attended the passholder previews but I expect it to be up to the same high standard Sudden Impact have always shown.
