  1. Thank you. I wasn't sure when looking at the picture of the top of the lift hill being extinguished that I was looking at a picture of the top of the lift hill being extinguished.
  2. I appreciate the effort you've put in but the story thing was done before on one of the overseas sites and it was done really well and was a lot more immersive. It's a pity I can't find that site again. Maybe one day. Until then, you're better off on here just showing off the finished product. IMO RCT died on these forums given the amount of parks that were started and lost or given up on. I'm guilty of that myself (giving up on them) and it just takes away from others threads because everyone seems to now go in with the assumption that after a few weeks/months it's all for nothing anyway. I'd suggest keeping it to the other forums and then come back here with a finished product.
  3. Was this an in-house design or is there a manufacturer that has a ride of this type already. And I don't mean lego driving school unless it's made by the same people.
  4. A floorless B&M inverted, launched wooden suspended coaster.
  5. And........now it's gone too far
  6. I thought they were just modified to a set speed but can be set higher for maintenance/moving/other uses. As for the steering, I'd assume given they can be freely steered for maint again, that there's simply a toggle on the car somewhere to allow for the steering wheel to actually be useful.
  7. I hope they cover the rest of the train track too. Even just some dirt over the track to bury it and let the grass/garden grow over. Otherwise it just looks too patchy.
  8. ^ I would strongly suggest you remove the piping after taking your screenshots. RCT3 does not handle large volumes of custom scenery well and if that stuff is underground it's not going to effect your final product anyway.
  9. You're absolutely right. I mean just looking at those cartoon animations made me know exactly what to expect from the ride and I was so disappointed to find out it wasn't going to transform me into a 2D comic book.
  10. I wouldn't think that someone saying "yes they're bigger", "no, they're smaller" or "they're the same size" would be breaking any confidentiality agreements given they're on view to the public as it is. Had I asked a few months ago before the ride was visible, sure I'd agree with you, but this is hardly top secret info.
  11. Out of curiosity do you know the wavelength and output on them by any chance?
  12. A little bit more info has come out in the last couple of days. A new system has been put in place for designing roller coasters that doesn't involve laying them out piece-by-piece. Roller coasters are now built using a spline system where you can alter tracks on the fly, rather than by going into a menu and selecting specific track parts. All attractions will be ridable in either first or third-person. RollerCoaster Tycoon World will be a full PC experience and will be "MicroTransaction free" There's also this coming out http://www.themeparkitect.com/
  13. So you've both seen the cars, and both have varying opinions. Surely we have some current MW employees on here who could confirm?
  14. 1 - Didn't know they still do it, no, I wouldn't bother. 2 - Won't take long to get in, I'd say 9:45 you want to be at the carpark 3 - Yes. If you haven't been there before and you're not likely to come back, why not spend the bit extra and make the absolute most of the time you have. If you're coming back frequently or soon enough, don't bother. 4 - Bag to keep things tidy just makes it easier. Lockers are in a few different places (Main street station has the least frequently used all day lockers. The main set of them at the front of the park is most popular and busiest, but no more than a 1-2 minute wait if you're stuck behind a slow person. 5 - No

  16. Unless you've got yourself 2x gold passes, you're not buying tickets right now. I hope they have the season pass available again. Got a big month for events, will be doing fright nights each weekend (if SP avail) then heading to Melbourne for PAX at the end of the month.
  17. Ah you are right. I'd always thought it was a road train since they went to the effort of actually removing the track, never knew it was there. http://cdn.parkz.com.au/cache/photo/pin/artwork/2009/04/0401-128_Little-Puff_Little%20Puff.jpg http://cdn.parkz.com.au/cache/photo/pin/general/2009/04/0401-128_Little-Puff-ou_IMGP0239.JPG
  18. It was never a track as far as I knew. It was just a little train on road wheels
  19. 2 questions - 1- do you own an iphone? 2 - why are you not even giving the ride a chance before saying how bad it is
