  1. More general updates going on at the park: GD Observation Station incoming? Decorations have been put up as you walk into Corrborree
  2. Not sure if it’s been brought up but the old railroad cave has now been removed
  3. Demoliton is occuring at the cave section of the ride One of the props that was in the closed area have been brought out Now onto the demolition pictures TRR Demolition: From what I saw on the Buzzsaw, parts of the cave have been exposed while some parts remain enclosed, station area remains intact for now
  4. From DW’s FB The next phase of Dreamworld’s remediation of its broader Gold Rush area commenced this week. The broader Gold Rush site works began in September 2017, with the demolition of the mine ride mountain and ride infrastructure. The next phase of these works include: • Demolition of the Skylink infrastructure; • Demolition of attractions within the closed Gold Rush area including the Gold Rush street stores, shooting gallery and Old Time Photos; and • Demolition of the decommissioned Thunder River Rapids ride, which is consistent with our undertaking given in late 2016 that the Thunder River Rapids ride would not operate again. The Gold Rush area remains cordoned off from the main Park and, where possible, site access for demolition of infrastructure is being undertaken out of Park operating hours. Our hearts and thoughts remain with the families and all those affected by the tragedy. No decision has been made on future plans for the Gold Rush site.
  5. Passing DW now TRR queue line building seems to be completely gone from what I saw, Won’t be able to go into the park till Sunday so that will be someone’s job if they want to take it, to update with us with what’s going on
  6. Saw them doing the netting as I was pulling into work, you can barely see the netting with this one (this was best picture I could get when I was coming in, don’t have my camera on me) Theres a forklift on site with them installing one of the nets rn
  7. Gary Weiss announced it alongside with the I-Ride attraction and the WWW expansion last year
  8. Temporary fencing is now gone TRR fence goes all the way down now Bring on this new dark ride
  9. It’s been off the website since the website got its update, forgot to bring it up
  10. Seeing that no one has mentioned it, walls are starting to be put up as you leave the station
  11. Courier Mail was given to exclusive access to see the new cubs (following information taken from Courier Mail) - Another litter of twin girls - Both weigh 1.50kg atm, expected to fully reach 150kg - Will be on public display in a fortnight’s time (I’m gonna guess you will be able to see them in the Up Close enclosure as TCK is gone)
  12. I haven’t heard of anything regarding towards Scooby closing in July The only thing that’s been said is that they were gonna try to get the theming back up for this calander year
  13. Seeing I didn't get the time to share these yesterday, I will share them now Much better look at the control booth I believe it's already been mentioned on here (if it has I apologise) the ride manual confirms that Zamperla is responsible for the ride Seat belts are installed on the ride ( most likely an world first safety feature that DW has included) I feel like there should be placed here smacked right in the middle even if it's just a sign saying Play School or Play School Wheel, I do hope they do something with that but seeing how 'unique' this ride to other ones installed I'm gonna say they are gonna leave it blank And seeing that the fences are down, here's some up close shots of the ride
  14. Some points from today's experince - Getting into and getting out of the logs was so much easier than I thought it would (This is coming from someone who is around 6ft 2 btw) - The cage do shake/rattle a lot during the duration of the ride, I would say the worst of the rattling occurs when you are coming back to the station - Ride does feel slightly underwhelming now as the cave has been removed but I understand why it had to be removed, it gives off the same vibe as Vikings did when it had it's course changed making it bland. I'm hoping the vegetation around that area grows pretty quickly - Dispatches are very slow at the moment, only the right side is working atm. One boat did go through the left side of the station but staff were not allowing anyone using that side at all - Queues were reaching up to this point today Now to wrap my experience on RHLR. Here's a few photos of the ride in action
  15. (Tributes flow in as the long awaited demolition has finally concluded) One part of the mountain lives on! (For now..)
  16. Hey DW, seeing that your competition charges people to ride their e-ticket attraction backwards how about you do the same? Full review on the ride will be up later
  17. Fences are down Not off to a good start if an upcoming attraction is ‘unavailable’ And because why not here’s a closer look into the control booth of the ride?
  18. All completely demolished now Got more better photos which I will upload later tonight
