  1. @Rollercoaster_Lover I thought TOT2 the only Intamin ride breaking down frequently and I think that's more the fact the TOT2 needs an upgrade on the launching system.
  2. I love how you find the one post to quote in the last page that doesn't say it's an Intamin gyro swing! 😂😂
  3. Make always said the biggest of its kind in Australia so I think we will see a Loke clone which will be cheaper than a custom highest. Loke is 27 metres tall with a swing reach of 42 metres. Which will swing higher than the Abyss tower. So it should add to the skyline hopefully.
  4. I believe Intamin don't make any more than 40 seat version and to custom make a 64 seat version would cost more than 7.5 million. To Mena 64 seats suits the windseeker or star flyer theory but we now know it's defiantly none of them.
  5. So according to Intamin the new Gyro Swing mode has a capacity of 900pph with the new 40 seating gonadal which means this will be a capacity monster the park needs.
  6. I am thinking it will look something like Loke. Which is the newer Intamin model with Lap Bars. Plus to me the support structure we have seen looks like this.
  7. Don't pay the money yet. I think its defiantly not a Zamperla Discovery Revolution but an Intamin Gyro Swing. If you look at the Zamperla model this is the footings. The 4 main supports are a long way away from the main centre point where Intamins are close like the Near Maps image. Compared to the Claw. Hopefully they have opted for the new Intamin Lap Bar restraints for the Gyro Swing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qonUju5gpA
  8. @grrofunger are you able to do an overall near maps image of AW and is there an area behind Dragons Kingsom storing the theming or ride parts that's visible on near maps? i think it's safe to say either an Intamin gyroswing or Zamperla discovery.
  9. So maybe either an Intamin Gyro swing or a Zamperla giant discovery/ revolution type looking structure?
  10. I believe this is Macks first NI Loop. Due to them not having such a thick spin on the track Mack seem to have way more supports then Intamin.
  11. I would rather they keep the mountain to an extent (as it doesn't have asbestos due to the fact that there is a hole in it and the park has not been closed to deal with it) and put a new coaster like a eurofighter in their using Gazzas suggestion a few years ago.
  12. This hotel they are talking about is not owned by DW or on DW's land it's across the road from the park and is independatly owned. So it's as much a benifit to DW as MW.
  13. @Mark Shaw what's a FT role? (Having a dumb moment)
  14. I heard that the Disk o ride model had a flaw in it that they discovered during the DW audits that people could slip out of the restraints. (Take this with a grain of salt)
  15. @ABYSS here you go: https://www.facebook.com/creativeworks.com.au/ Creative Works have posted another picture.
  16. @Mark Shaw you certainly know how to build up hype even when your no longer at the park. May I ask if you believe the park will continue to invest in Mi's without you there? (I can't wait to ride it or find out what the ride is two) Plus I want to thank you for all the work you did for AW during your time!
  17. I thought that to but Mark has said it is being signed by a contractor in Europe, Fun Time (star flyers) are made in Australia so there is still Mondial or Zamperla. Zamperla's model only cost a few mill. (so to cheap) and the Mondial Windseeker Mark has said in the past cost more than the 7.5 million dollar price tag. So I wonder what it could be. Also Creative Works have posted this image on their Facebook page.
  18. Or buzz saw. If you want to count it as a coaster.
  19. Well that was the other point. Mark has said that it's the largest of its kind in Australia. So by that I would assume there is another version of Mi3 somewhere in Australia.
  20. However I had a look online and the Zamperla Discovery Revolutions are only 4 million total project cost on other installations. Considering that Mi3 has a 7.5 million dollar price tag I think it will be something else.
  21. The problem is I believe the coaster was manufactured by an Australian company that does not mack coaster or track any more. So replacement parts will not be possible. Plus from all account the Mine Ride track was super rough and would not be pleasant compared to a brand new hyper coaster down the road.
