Just going to add, I am 16 and I have heard the name Doctor Who, but have no idea what its about. Plus I asked lots of my friends my age and a lot of them are clue less. So I wouldn't say Doctor Who is something that everyone knows.

They tried to enter today and got removed very very quickly.

Also if you go onto Zamperla's website they call it a Disk'O coaster.

If that is in fact true. Wouldn't it have been better to just leaving it launching forward to allow it to reach its actual marketed height.

Make the pole 300 foot on top of the Hyper coaster. Now we have the worlds first Polar Coaster!

They can't change it because making a bigger lift hill would result in the lift hill being longer meaning the footings would need to move or they would need to re make the track which most likely is finished or closed to finishing. (Maybe they have painting or something to go)

They said: Notice how they said a number of multi-million dollar rollercoasters and a water park. Why do I have the feeling they mean rollercoasters like Buzzsaw and not actual decent coasters.

Could we see some new shows coming in part of stage 2 of Corroboree? Craig Davidson did say in the interview that they have realised how important entertainment options was.

I know this is not new footage. But when I was re watching the channel 9 news story about rides safety it does show drone footage of green lantern which shows some footers.

Could be the reason. Could this finally me the removal of Eureka at the same time….

Or by having the permeant fencing up they can remove the temp fencing and move it over to the top golf site. I think Top Golf will be the main priority until track and supports arrive (which hopefully happens soon)

Abyss maintenance period has been extended and will be closed today.

I think the sign out the front of the construction site is as good as an announcement we are going to get. I really think MW need to look at how much AW marketed Abyss, teasing a new ride over a year before it opened and how they always have news reports revealing the theming and the ride type with both Abyss and Kraken.

Abyss is closed for the weekend for maintenance.

Adventure World is closed for maintenance from Anzac Day till September. Seems like a long time……

I am going to say that the lights stayed on in the last week of the store being constructed there would have been staff inside working around the clock to get everything set up inside the store. Now that the store is open and staff are not working late they would turn the lights off earlier.

The track needs to arrive at MW!

Do we actually now have a thread about one certain toilet building at MW.

I heard they ripped out all of the theming inside the ride and its just an empty building now.

I am surprised they didn't go with the Inatmin Hyper. Here is a video of the new Intamin Hyper coming to Poland. It contains 4 abreast seating also. Maybe it came down to budget or that MW wanted inversions.

This is why I find it sad that not a lot of Intamin's are being built at the moment. Intamin always pushed the envelope. Most of the fastest and tallest rides are all Intamin's. They push to break the limits and despite the problems with reliability and such they are awsome rides. Parks now just want the standard rides and rides that are garented to work and be sucssessful hence why everyone is getting B&M standard layouts and not going for unique and ground breaking attractions. But I think Intamin are starting up again with their 4 seat wide coaster cars and their new track design. Plus they are starting to fill up their order book.

@SunshineTom you realise you are on a theme park enthusiast website. Yet you come here to bag theme parks. Of course this is not going to end well. (for you)

@iwerks I think its because they have built Octopus Bay which is where the proposed kiddie sides were going in the plan above. I hope those pro-slides and the Pro-wave are still coming.
