  1. I think the pull through and possibly test cycles will happen before the joker face goes up. It will be harder to pull a train slowly over and down the drop with the joker face on top.
  2. Could we see a rebrand of Village Roadshow Movie World?
  3. Nah it's disneyVERSALflagFAIRpark. Don't forget cedar fair.
  4. Does anyone think we might see VRTP try and brand Movie World as Village Roadshow Movie World and get heir own branding in the park? Considering they are now putting VR fence toppers up.
  5. Did it the sign outside the ride say SDSC IS undergoing thematic enchantments? Now they are saying soon? Hmmm.....
  6. I am sure the Intamin Hyper coming next year will be a great addition for them. I believe Intamins first 4 seater Hyper? Still would be interested in seeing a park build the Vekom some they pitched.
  7. @AlexB we had to beat the coverage that was done for DD.
  8. I would say yes. Traveling rides can come from the same manufactures as theme park rides. IE Mondial, Zamperla, Gersluar even KMG have theme park rides. So there would be set protocols for mantanience that is set by the manufactures that apply to both permeant and traveling versions with some differences due to design differences in the versions.
  9. @ABYSS I would say attached but due to the wet and wild weather we have had lately I would say its more protection.
  10. @djrappa I understand your point but this is America. They might have different rules and laws governing maintenance. Australia has very high standards and often requires extra stuff. But no doubt regular NDT intervals should be required on all rides in every country especially on high stress areas.
  11. Doubt 2 trains will ever be running through the course at once since there is no MCBR. So most likely one loads while one is in the course.
  12. They won't be split up as they share the same supports.
  13. It's safe to say they will be scraped just like the original Hulk Ride. Which according to US was "beyond salvageable." Plus relocating a 19 year old ride to Australia from the other side of the world does not make much business sense.
  14. Well they do say the best way to control a risk is to eliminate it.
  15. The dive loop is what follows the main drop. The dive loop is the inversion after the main drop.
  16. So @Mark Shaw who comes up with the ideas for the themes? The park or Atomiq? Thanks for answering my question earlier also.
  17. @grrofunger thanks for that, much appreciated. Enjoy your travels.
  18. Yeah their theming they make is very high quality. They don't miss the little details. I believe from what I have read that AW hired Themed Builders as a themed architect consultant who help design and then they build the theming. Then the great people at Creative Works paint it all onsite.
  19. All their theming is made by a company called themed builders. http://themebuilders.net/portfolio_page/adventure-world/ AW has really stepped up the quality of the park and themed most areas. I think this ride will be no exception.
  20. @grrofunger do you still have access to RP data and can tell us if AW own more land since 2015? (when you posted that lovely map for us) I was reading this article and its amazing to think how much AW has grown since 2011. This article being about their 3 million dollar gamble in 2011 know as Kahuna Falls. Just to think 2 years later they spent 12 million on Abyss. http://www.perthnow.com.au/business/adventure-worlds-3m-gamble/news-story/fec0b3222111074cb261442845399d41 AW just posted this on Facebook.
  21. Yup there is also government land back there which I believe they want to try and get as their land surrounds it. Plus behind the main car park there are 3 lots I don't know if AW owns any of them.
