  1. I'm imagining that the whole Gold Rush area, except for BuzzSaw would be closed for the whole Summer holidays, hence why it isn't on the map so it doesn't cause confusion. But I have surprised that BuzzSaw will reopen at some point in the near future.
  2. @Brad2912 I agree, definitely a concern with the log ride, but it is still listed on their website, so will have to wait and see what happens. And I meant it's visually changed on the map where it used to show it going around the studio, but as it isn't on the map, they've modified the train, but this might not necessarily mean the trains actual route has changed, unless they modified it while the parks been closed.
  3. Looks like the ride has officially closed forever. It has been taken off the rides listing and maintenance page. Rest In Peace, Vikings Revenge Flume Ride (1979 - 2016)
  4. DWs park map has now been updated and removed TRRR, Big Brother studio and interestingly the Log Ride too. The train circuit has been changed, the LEGO Store has been added, as well as a tiger image on the billboard where the Cub Kindy is.
  5. The carnivale floats are now at SW (Photos: TPSN)
  6. How can a software update have such major issues, from what I heard, the system was working fine when it was being used last holidays. I hope they don't get rid of it, because it seems like a great additional experience to the ride.
  7. I personally don't think the theming of the ride will be influenced or be affected by the realise of a movie. I think they will theme it to what comic they wish to, or requested by DC
  8. Just seen a new thing has been added for this years WC. Elves Gift Adventure. It's $10 pre-purchase, $15 in park.
  9. ^Triple Vortex only has 3 small ones and none of them are enclosed.
  10. Slide pieces are beginning to be preoattef for installation, with a crane on site and workmen joining pieces together. The red pieces will be at the top of the slide, and the rest will be yellow and blue
  11. Here's some photos of footers from today (approximately 210 of them), with soil layed now and some work still happening towards AA. And the footer in the carpark is complete
  12. Christmas decorations have been installed out the front, new sign and don't know if it's me, but it seems the road lines have been repainted too. And there were also a couple of guys on the gondolas of the GD at the top of the tower.
  13. Today's update. From what I've seen today, it does give me confidence that it could be ready in time for Christmas
  14. DW have now updated their FB profile picture and have removed the 'Happiness' banner.
  15. You say that, but LEGO had contracted with DW in the first half of the year, so I can't see the incident affecting anything like that.
  16. I think a DW tower Lego model in the middle of the store would be pretty cool.
  17. Yeah I'm pretty sure, if I remember correctly, in the press release they said there would be LEGO display/models
  18. Yeah there's shipping containers have been there for months and months now. I could be wrong, but I'm fairly sure they are the same ones that have been there since the construction of Nickelodeon Land last year.
  19. Universal Studios Japan did that really well for their Jurrasic Park area. Tonnes and tonnes of plants, and did a really good job of hiding the rest of the park once in the area.
  20. Sharon bay is getting more shelter installed (Photo: TPSN)
  21. The media are never bored of any storey, providing they can get any information, right or wrong about it. Everytime a statement has been made by the CEO or Ardient Lesiure, the media have covered it, and have at times been pushing for answers which are obvious they wouldn't respond to as of yet, or don't have an answer for because they themselves don't know. I saw one reporter ask if the park was safe. I just think that was a stupid question, because of course it is, otherwise they wouldn't reopen. And they are taking all the procortions they can to ensure the safety of all rides. The incident that occurred could never have been predicted, and if there were any known issues with the ride they would've closed it, and inspected it further.
  22. These photos were shared by AusParks, but taken by someone else (who's name I won't share just in case they don't want it to be on here)
