Entry is all inclusive When you stay late, you don’t have to pay more. All valid tickets and passes allow you to enjoy Dreamworld from 9am until 9pm from 26th December until 15th January, 2017.
  2. Reading the archive website and some of those facts are pretty cool. Like the water capacity and the fire effect temperature. I do remember riding the ride a couple of times when the fire effect did work, and couldn't believe how hot it got. Water system capacity: 1.5 million litres Animatronic robots: 22 Light globes: 2000 Passengers per probe: 10 Heat from fire effects: 680 degrees Opened in April 1994
  3. I imagine it was only added for a short period of time, as the time that we checked it was there. Probably an accident or trial. I imagine/hope we will see a couple of thrill rides (Ocean Parade and Pandamonium) open in time for Christmas.
  4. The DW Express is also now open, but the super tubes hydro coaster is closed. Ive just checked the page again, and now it says Pandamonium isn't open
  5. @Tim Dasco when I checked out progress yesterday, the majority of the pieces were joined together on ground, but none had been lifted up into position yet. So it would only take a day or 2 to lift these pieces into position, and run tests?
  6. Floats and theming from carnivale is continuing to appear at SW, there are also a couple of them outside the plaza on the grassed area (Photos: TPSN)
  7. I've always that space would be great for a good slide that we haven't seen on the coast, like one from WNW Sydney. And I do hope they install a slide there one day, as it has been a few years since they last got one.
  8. Or maybe even a Aquaman character walking throughout the park
  9. Went on WWF for the second time yesterday since it's refurb and there were still a number of elements not working correctly, such as the timing of the train sound effects, town population changing and the miner when going up the lift hill, he keeps saying the line over and over, not just when you pass him, and at times some of the audio cut out and he'd start saying the line again. But I didn't notice how clean the water was, especially before the first lift hill and after the final drop. It was that clear that you could see the floor.
  10. When at MW this morning they were doing tests on DD. And also Lex Luthers black van was missing, but I'm thinking that was the case due to the fencing around DD.
  11. With there only being 5 more days until the slide is supposed to reopen, I'm very surprised that there still hasn't been any more pieces of slide installed. The pieces have been moved around and some joined together, but no lifted up into position.
  12. Went to MW this morning and when on SE and GL I could finally see how the footings were positioned in this area of land, and the ride will make its final turn here to head back into the station.
  13. I purely only went to show my support to the park, and wonder around for a couple of hours to purely just enjoy walking around the park. I did watch the tiger presentation, but that's it. But all staff were very happy and seemed pleased to have guests back in the park
  14. Yesterday when I went there were a lot of young families, but I did see a few teenagers in WWW, so there was a good mix of age groups. But once a few of the thrill rides open, then I imagine crowds would pick up a bit.
  15. I know this is a very rough layout, but there quite a few footings in that large area in the open green space that you've avoided in that drawing. So this coaster is definitely going to make good use of the land.
  16. @reanimated35 so the fake snow is being used. In previous years has it run the whole night, because i had a friend go Friday night and said it was only going from about 8.
  17. I've seen a few people complain on MWs FB that there is no/minimal snow this year and instead is just bubbles. Is this true, or is it only a certain points during the night, rather than the whole night?
  18. Don't think this have already been posted by anyone else yet.
  19. Great atmosphere in the park due to everyone being so friendly. The park is looking great, and definitely is quite strange without the thrill rides going. Was just speaking to a mate who works here and said crowds yesterday were about 4,000 which is a slow day and heading towards about the same today. He did say that about 12,000+ is a really good day, and hopefully within a couple of weeks ones they will be heading towards that type of crowds again.
  20. The whole area is looking great now, but stage 2 doesn't seem to have begun yet.
  21. I agree that it is good at WnW, but personally I think it would've been better at SW.
