  1. I'm thinking: Halloween - Fountain DOTD - Main Street Apparitions - China town alley Gothix Hall - Gothic Hall
  2. Hahaha yeah, we all sat awkwardly there as we turned on the turntable.
  3. Lucky you, I just missed out, the first train they sent through, a few people got to wear them, then I rode it and didn't, and then the people after me got to wear them ?
  4. From MWs FB: A world of virtual insanity launches tomorrow 24 September at Warner Bros. Movie World! Arkham Asylum will feature a 360-degree virtual reality experience with technology seamlessly syncing the movement of the coaster with the visual effects to take you on a multi-dimensional journey. Please note, virtual reality on Arkham Asylum costs $5 and is available for purchase in-park. And here's a POV featuring parts of the VR: https://youtu.be/9hR_9uv2cBE
  5. Just been a checked out some of the figures and the interaction with them is great and plenty of people were trying it out. They were having a couple of issues with the Joker and Harley Quinn set, but they were trying to fix it. The detailing for the characters is amazing. Great to see that they also painted all the side of the sound stage blue, and I hope they cover up the back of the bank with something that blends into the western area.
  6. Went on WWF this morning and was pretty impressed with all the extra detailing up into the ride. Some of the effects weren't working, and it felt like some of the timing was out. All the extra signage and TNT throughout the ride really added to it, and making the storyline make more sense. Old faithful has been pressure hosed too, looking much better now. The train scene was really good, but I feel like the trains whistle should be heard earlier, and the explosion sound should go off just as soon as you see the train, because the explosion sound went as we went past the scene. And the population of the town has increased to 167 now (if I remember correctly). Besides those couple of thing, well done to MW
  7. Drilling is getting closer to GL now, and quite large holes have been dug with plenty of steal reinforcements in place. Drilling has also moved closer to AOS, along the main road, as well as diggers appearing on the other side of the lake, near the GL queue line (where footings were spotted)
  8. Wow those 'figure sets' look amazing, even more from what I'd seen. And the interactive elements so far sound great. And $15 for a band that can be used over an over again does sound reasonable. Especially with all that happens with each character. Can't wait to see the rest of them. I also saw the tv ad that was filmed a couple of weeks back on tv today, and it showed off some of the figures and their effects too.
  9. Where's another video from DWs page showing some more of the VR video: https://www.facebook.com/dreamworld/videos/10154009396933613/
  10. Damn it DW. That confirms that they are adding a space theme to the VR. It's great that they are introducing the system to the ride, but why have a system that displays something that doesn't even relate to the ride. All I can hope for, is they refurbish the ride next year to suit that theme of the VR. Otherwise, very pointless and disappointed. Magician ain't happy.
  11. Patrick is a fantastic photographer though, so I doubt they need much touch ups. Unless removing the collar.
  12. That was from DW website, and my understanding is that the VR won't have anything to do with the theme of MDMC. If my understanding is correct, in my opinion thats a stupid idea. Why wouldn't you have the VR system make it look like your riding a motorbike track. And it looks like your on a bike, and racing against others.
  13. I checked out Tiger Island, and Im really really impressed with the area. I even noticed that the ceiling of the food outlet wasn't completed either. Despite this and a number of things not being completed, it will be even better once completed. I love tigers, so to see this great facility for them and guests was great.
  14. That tower ride was a hot topic of discussion back when concept art was released: But what ever this coaster is going to be, I'm excited for it.
  15. When walking through the queue area of GL, I had a look through the fence back at the area on the side of the stream where we'd spotted markers, and there are a lot more than I first though. At least a dozen, maybe even two dozen could be seen.
  16. If I didn't know that was real, I would've thought it was photoshopped.
  17. I'd just like to say from my trip to the park this morning, the staff were very efficient with the loading and off loading of GL and SE. They were very quick, didn't mess around, and didn't have trains waiting in the station too long before they unloaded/loaded it again.
  18. Thanks for clarifying that @joz. I'm really intrigued by the train bridge scene. Is there actually a train going over? Or have they just enhanced what was there before?
  19. And it does it live up the standard you were hoping for, or do you feel like they could've done more?
  20. Here is a comparison of how dirty the mountain had gotten. Photo taken August 2015.
  21. Maybe it was the way I explained it, but I thought it was pretty efficient, because it meant everyone's loose items were out before they got to the loading bay.
  22. Wow wow wow wow wow. I've just been through the area and on the ride. And it all looks great. Can't wait to see the full reveal. Some things I noticed or will mention. A corner of the shop was sectioned off, more from what we saw the other day. DD did only have one mode of operation. And people asking about how loading works, as I joined the queue I was given a small basket to put loose items in. When at the loading area, you are assigned a colour on either side of the ride. The seats of the ride had a coloured square, which meant that was where you sat. The very middle seats have a height maximum of 170cm. When boarding you walk down the ramped floor to your seat, put the basket in a storage box to the side where the floor doesn't collapse in. And then off you go. One thing I think they need to do, is turn the volume on the TVs on the queue down a bit, because you could hear them over some of the sound in the area. Unless they've just done that until it fully opens. Thought the ride was really fun, and would happily ride it again on my next visit, but maybe not more than once at time. I feel sick after the claw and Pandamonium, this wasn't too bad. Did hear someone say, that could've been a lot more thrilling. But I think that they needed a ride to appeal to more people, and this does that. Well done to MW.
