SW have added this map/trail activity for COTD. It seems like you can get a map at the first station and then follow the map to the other creatures and get it stamped. After watching that video, I did notice there were a couple of minor differences in comparison to when I saw the show at the end of May. Overall the show was an improvement from what it was. But still not as good as the first HWSD. I think the limitation to the show is the fact that they are making a movie trailer. There is a story line to the show, but there is a lot of starting and stopping as they do the next scene, and the stunts that are done are similar throughout the show. I'm not saying that the drivers aren't talented, because they defiently are, but i feel there should be some more variation. I think the next show that they do should move away from the film making story line.

Yeah, that guy those does the Wipeout is great. He always does commentary throughout the ride and does different character voices. He is also happy and energetic

^DW posted on there FB yesterday that it was national fairy day and there were some activities on for kids. I think it was just did that.

I went to SW yesterday, and had a quick walk through the area. It was quite windy and the sign that hangs off the ship had been blown over into the ship. If a staff member isn't going to pull it back down every time it gets blown up, I think they should add some support or weight to it, to stop it from happening. It isn't a major thing, but just something I noticed. While I'm talking about the park, I can't exactly remember if someone said that the propeller for the storm wasn't spinning any more. But today it was, with the water spray going when riders go underneath it.

I never got to ride Thrillseeker, but I do remember it being at the park, and remember it being on the now Ray reef site. Was the ride good? Was it popular? And why was it removed from the park?

If you'd said Dr Who at MW, then that would be more fitting. But at SW, no. With the park already having two forms of coasters and a kids coaster opening soon, I can't really see SW building a new one. I think the variety in sea creatures is really good as well. I defiently don't think a dark ride would be a good idea, as the building wouldn't look right in the space. I know the park had one before and there are height limitations, but maybe a new Sea World Eye would be an idea. When it originally opened I thought it was a great addition and the views it provided were great. I think the site needs some flats rides. Maybe the area behind COTD where there is just gravel, could feature some flat rides, themed to this area.

A rollercoaster themed around a mythical sea creature (any sea creature really) would be good. I know land is an issue for the park, but a coaster like Manta would be great, in my opinion.

If there is any noticeable progress of the new kids area, since the last photos posted, photos of that would be good thanks.

^Maybe re-theme wasn't the right word. More of an upgrade/makeover. I personally think the lift hill mechanisms aren't the best. When I last rode it last year it wasn't a smooth continuous flow when travelling up the hill. Not a major issue, but something that could be upgraded.

^Yeah, that is a good point. But I do hope that its a little more than a few cars in a shed. I do agree with this, but I personally think the Evilution just passes with the theme, as it could be seen as a dockside building, and I'm fairly sure they removed the rock climbing wall (if I remember correctly from when I last visited).

^No, but it should. Or at least have a portable sign on the pathway saying that it will.

I don't think there is much chance that cyclone will be re-themed to the v8 supercars. The ride is in ocean parade. Yes, they put Redline in there, but that was done when DW didn't really care that much. I can't see a major re-theme of the cyclone happening in a month. It is possible, but to do redo the queue system, new train and new hill system, I don't think that is likely. I believe they will close the MDMC food store for good, and put the museum (if that's what it will be) in there. Also, DW have posted on their FB page that there is something special happening soon with the fairies (referring to the Fairytale Treasures stores). Wonder what could be happening.

There isn't an certainty or constituency with them updating the map, but I'd imagine there may be one later in the month, or early July (based off when updates were released last year)

The attraction opens in December, DW have already said that

^they did replace those rides. Junior Driving school and storm and are in their place. Justice league is like a laser tag ride, where you sit in cars and get taken along a track as you shoot at objects.

Just having a look at ticket pricing and a DW adult day ticket is now $95. Since when did they go up another $10? I don't see how they can justify $110 for a year, or $95 a day. They must be loosing money through single day tickets now since the passes are cheaper.

In saying that about TOT2, that happened in 2010. Last year they upgraded Wipeout and look what they can do. The ride looks brand new. So there is the possibility of them doing the same sort of thing to Cyclone. The ride is closed for just over a month near the end of the year, so we may see some minor upgrades down then.

What I think they need to do to the ride is: replace the train with a new one, replace the chain/pull system up the lift hill and demolish the station and queue line and construct a new and better one. A fresh coat of paint on the track would be nice as well. I would assume that the ride isn't smooth because of the train. The track may have a couple of minor issues, but nothing major, otherwise it would probably need replacing. The seating themselves aren't comfortable, as there is minimal leg room and I find that the harness doesn't fit right or feels quite loose, so it causes you to thrown around a lot more.

^Yes. So many people complain about them and think they relate to the American SeaWorlds. The park isn't going anywhere anytime soon, so people just support them or at least stop complaining. As far as I'm aware there isn't anyone else going out and resulting whales from shark nets. Yes some of the creatures do perform tricks, but most of these behaviours are ones that most of them would do in the wild. I fully support the park, and think everything they do and stand for is an essential part to southeast Queensland
