I don’t think we will see it open in September. Rivals went under a months worth of testing before it soft opened. I’d say we could see it open for the Halloween event

You’re right about the work on the lift hill. When I was there watching it undergo testing, they were testing the train safety systems of it stopping at the top of the lift hill and roll backs. After one run, it stopped on the final brakes for some time. I don’t have pictures, but I don’t think they’ve updated that one? Unless I haven’t noticed

@Slick I think it will definitely stand out because even at this height, it can already be seen from the highway

Visited DW today for one final ride on the BuzzSaw. Not busy at all. No real queue. It just shows, even with its announced closure, people aren’t too bothered to get their final ride in (when compared to TOT for example)

Does the park do re-entry? Could you go to your car, eat food that you brought and then re-enter? That’s always a way to make the day cheaper

@GoGoBoy id disagree. The new sign is awful compared to what was there. I’d say it’s as bad as the change Scooby’s signage was. The only one that is passable is WWF

On my visit to MW yesterday there was nothing to say that the park would close early. And the Roxy Theatre had closed for the day when I walked past it at 2:15

This splashdown is yet to be refilled but the bucket for pipeline plunge has returned

Apparently WWF is getting new boats/lap bars for each individual

Something I noticed during the testing was they have added some sound effects/audio of road runner as the train leaves and arrives at the station and ascends up the lift hill. I believe there was porky pig and maybe another character who did announcements

A more permanent fence is being constructed

No surprise that there revenue was less which how this year has been. Good to see that they won’t remove anything else, but no mention of anything new coming (even if it was small). I guess from their perspective, no rides really have long wait times so that means they’ve got enough rides to manage the amount of guests coming through. Which is a sad thought. But hopefully next year we see crowds begin to increase as travel can become more certain.
