  1. ^I personally just assumed it would be reopening as a laser tag. I thought once TI reopens, the Cub Kindy will be removed, and it will return to its usual laser tag.
  2. Yeah, I'm sure there will be quite a few complaints about it. But being closed for that long will be worth it.
  3. Yeah something has been posted about that 'shed' being constructed, but why are the sound stages off limits this year?
  4. ^Its October. So I'm thinking they'll have the opening at the first FN, or during that day.
  5. ^I think having a DC comic villain themed maze here would be a good idea, considering the area it going to be in. But in saying that, new mazes are usually placed in the sound stages.
  6. ^I think it would be great if there are two different cycles to experience for the ride, because it would also add something for kids, providing the minimal high requirement isn't too high.
  7. Good to hear they are freshening up the park. And I'm hoping they have some good plans for WWF refurbishment. I'm assuming a repaint. And hopefully a number of new effects added. I've said what I think about VR on rides before, but I think as an option for riders is a good idea. Even if it's an additional cost, and you use it throughout the day if wanted for certain rides. I don't think they'd have it for WWF due to the experience the ride already gives. The coasters are the most likely option, and think would enhance the experience, if done right. They could have Batman flying ride in his 'Bat' (I'm thinking something like they had for the Batman Adventure Ride 2. SE could add to the earthquake happening in Metropolis. Would be good to see the roof collapsing for real, police car crashing through roof, etc. But I think the ride it could be best for would be GL, if the music is playing and you feel like your in GL universe with him flying around, battling it out with the villains.
  8. Does anyone know if the circle actually provides an purpose to the ride. Because from looking at the picture posted above, it seems like it's just there.
  9. VIP Magic Passes have returned again, and as said the other week, now includes Paradise Country. I think having this option, as well as the monthly option is a good idea, and probably released this after DW offered both and not just the monthly payment pass. https://themeparks.com.au/box-office/vip-magic-pass/select-tickets.aspx
  10. ^That is a good point about the bitumen/foundations. Maybe there isn't something wrong with the arms, and they were just checking they were all good, and once the concrete is laid they will then install them.
  11. Why would they even do another TOT, unless they run one right next to it. But that isn't possible anyways. It would be good to see the paddle steamer and bush ranger show return, and of course we'd love to see eureka return, just don't trust him as a source for this info. And a new coaster at SW next year would be great, and I can see that coming as we haven't at this stage got any major new attractions coming.
  12. And remember the winner of lasts years home film contest will either have their film turned into a maze or scare zone.
  13. Would be good, but we need an admin to move the stuff posted in DW to here, and then move this AA stuff into a new topic.
  14. Yeah I wasn't sure if they were new trains, and I know he isn't the most reliable source, but was just stating what TPSN posted with the photo. I never rode the ride when it was LW, so has the ride run two trains at times before? I can't ever remember seeing a switch track for AA that would allow this to happen.
  15. It seems that AA is getting a lot of work done, and apparently new trains have arrived (photos: TPSN)
  16. Unfortunately not. Just checked and it hasnt been updated since September 1.
  17. I think that would be a great coaster for the park, and would provide a coaster experience that the GC hasn't got.
  18. What annoys me most, is when people like these push in front and block peoples views, especially kids. I know most people love to get the perfect image, but most of us can visit the parks when ever we want, these kids probably don't and they should be the ones who get to experience it the most and get up and close to the action.
  19. ^Hahahaha he seems to always have to be at front to get the 'best' photos.
  20. It would probably be like Carnivale, but with that Chinese twist, so lanterns, dragons, street performers, Chinese food stalls. I could be wrong, but I don't think they do all these things during the day, so maybe they could introduce them in the future. Or maybe they could do an evening event, but just for the weekend of CNY.
  21. Well Chinese NY is generally the last week of January or in the first 2 weeks of February, so even if they had it Friday and Saturday nights for 3 weeks during this time. Then they could keep Carnivale around the same time as this year, because, as said it would be tough on the actors with their outfits to perform during Winter.
  22. What about at Chinese Nee Year event? I know they do things at the park during the day, but I think an evening event could be really good. And then maybe push Carnivale back to June/July.
  23. I'm a bit sceptical of this attraction and the experience it would provide. I'm going to keep an open mind for it, but after seeing the first Sharknado, and how bad it was, I'm just not a fan of the link to it. I do believe it would be much more fitting at DW and is more likely with their connection. Despite MW have connections with them in the past, I doubt they have much contact anymore and don't see it as something going to MW. And in regards to SW, despite the shark theme of the attraction, I don't think it's something they'd go for as the park is about raising awareness of sea creatures and sharing their beauty, not killing sharks that attack everything they see.
