  1. Here you go: Thanks for that review and images reanimated. Sounds great and love the interaction you get with the mazes.
  2. But isn't being let into the park for the day like being paid? It costs the park to let them in, usually they would have to pay up to $85. So they aren't working for nothing. Some people don't have the spare money to go to theme parks. Yes the money would be nice, but most families want to see there kids be happy, and I'm pretty sure a day at the park would make there day.
  3. I would say it represents the waters current.
  4. ^Exactly. And it isn't the first time parks have done this. I think its good when they do this. Do something for the park for a few hours and then get a free day at the park.
  5. ^I think that cabanas at WnW have just been painted to brighten them up a bit, like a lot of the other shelters seen in that image.
  6. Here is a look at those water canyons that have been installed alongside river rapids (Source: Thrillz FB page):
  7. I would too say Dreamworld and Sea World. Dreamworld have shown us what they can do when they renovate an area (Ocean Parade), they now need to continue this with Gold Rush Country. They have started doing some minor modifications, but they need to continue throughout the area. They also need to renovate/upgrade the Cyclone. Coroboree has had some changes, but some of the animal exhibits need to be upgraded, such as the crocodile area and where the dingos were (Some posted on DW's FB page asking about the Dingos, and they replied saying some new animals would be coming to the area soon. Sea World too have started renovating some areas, but some buildings need a refresh, and some of the pathways need replacing.
  8. ^I'm assuming that noise is coming form River Rapids. If so, I don't see the point of the dinosaurs, its a mine themed ride of men, who just escaped from prison, which are now steeling gold from a prison. I think they need to fix the story of the ride.
  9. I got a mini newspaper in my letterbox today and its The Dreamworld Times. Its basically a A5 size newspaper, with about 6 pages saying about the newest attractions at DW and WWW, upcoming events, experiences, the park map, Big Brother info, sky point info and a couple of other minor things. I wonder if this will be a monthly addition in the post. I think its a good advertising scheme.
  10. Went through the ripper maze at 10:15 and only waited a couple of minutes.
  11. Went on Scooby-Doo last night and the lasers are really good now. Plenty of different colours and add that extra something to the area. Wasn't to much smoke, but I thought it was just the right amount.
  12. Just to give people an idea of queue times at the times I went at, and where I saw the queue at its longest (White is queue at its longest and blue is where I was): Cannibal Clowns: I joined the queue at 6:15 and it was only around 10 minutes. Wolf Creek: I joined the queue at 6:50 and was queued for 85 minutes. Evil Within: I joined the queue at 9:30 and was queued for 25 minutes. Ripper: I joined the queue at 10:15 was queued for 3 minutes. I would recommend (if you can) doing the cannibal clowns straight away and then leave the Ripper until the last 30 minutes. That was the queues are really quick. The other two mazes I was willing to wait longer for because they were the bigger mazes.
  13. I went tonight as well. Really good night with plenty of scares. I managed to do all of the mazes: Cannibal Clowns: Queue line was a bit unorganised, and signage isn't that clear. The maze was pretty basic, least favourite of the night. There were a couple of scares, but nothing to major. A maze more for a bit of fun really. 4/10 Wolf Creek: I thought this maze was the scariest of them all. Every area featured scares. The actors do a good job at hiding within the sets, and when it's almost dark, or there is lightning they really creep up on you. The extra little details such as hanging things off the roof were really good as well. 9-/10 Evil Within: This was the best themed maze, which makes the experience and tension within scenes really good. Having windows for actors to slam on and open were really good. At a couple of points the people in front of me ran though a couple of longer corridors because of the expectation something was going to appear, and it did. 9/10 Ripper: This maze was a surprise. After reading people's comments i wasn't expecting much, but I thought it was a really good maze. The first scene only features a long corridor, where not a lot happens, but then the scares begin. The actors hide behind doors, within the corridors. They run along and jump of crates with a number of scenes. Water sprays you which is a real surprise, and some of the actors come right up to your face. At times we weren't entirely sure which way we needed to turn, but the actors mange to guide you, without getting out of character. There are a couple of obstacles to watch out for, such as crates, which you don't always see. Surprise maze of the night. 7.5/10 Despite tonight being a sell out queues werent too bad. Cannibal clowns was the first one we did and we were only queded for 15 minutes. Wolf creek was 80 minutes. Evil within was 25 minutes. And we did ripper at 10:15 so it was only about 2 minutes. We also managed to get to ride Scooby-doo (the corridor to the left of the main queue area doesn't have the aircon switched on, so it does get quite hot in there. Overall I thought it was a really good night. Features plenty if scares and good theming for the majority of the maxes. If you went on the first weekend, I'd highly recommend going again because it seems like it has improved and the queue lines are quicker, despite a coule not being organised the best. Overall the night was a 8.5/10
  14. Here is a newmap image taken in June, which I found in the "What could Wild be" forum:
  15. ^Possibly. Maybe it will use that land and the left part of the reclaimed land.
  16. ^Yeah you are correct, but the building shown in this image looks like that is in that area highlighted on the map: Hence, why in my opinion I think that this attraction will be on the reclaimed land.
  17. Looking at google maps, I think that building in the first photo is the one positioned on the lake: Maybe part of the reclaimed land will be used for Creatures from the Deep.
  18. ^If that's the case, maybe the attraction will be instead of Wild. The building in the background is what through me off. I think you could be right. Either it is getting an upgrade or will be where creatures from the deep will be. Does anyone know if that function room is used often?
  19. The theme park social network posted these photos on FB: SW are already advertising the attraction. I can't really tell where this is, but could it link to the attractions location? This appears to be where the inside part of Dinosaur Island was.
  20. ^You can do that with the Green Room and RIP as well
  21. For WnW GC it says on the website under 140cm and under the age of 10.
  22. Do you have to put your hands on the person in front shoulders, like you did last year?
  23. ^In my opinion I would say that 2016/17 would be when we could expect a replacement.
